Pet care experience
My experience comes from having my own dogs to taking care of my mom's and sitting for friends and college professor's dogs. Small and large breeds. Puppies and seniors. I've handled their skunk baths, nail trimming, naps, cuddles, city walks, meds, grooming, nature hikes and camping, swimming, and basic training. I've had to rely on friends, family, and apps to help me with my dog when life kept me away from home or even when I've been too sick for a proper walk - I know what it feels like to put your pup in someone else's hands. I'm joining Rover now because I miss that beautiful, loving, dog energy and I don't want to commit to adopting yet. I had the most wonderful perfect rescue pit bull (Frankie B) for 10 years, and I had to lay him to rest during Summer 2021. I work from home most of the time and have the space, time, and love to share with your dog while you're taking care of other things. I'm vaccinated and still masked indoors in public places.
Reviews
Nasha did an amazing job with sitting Mephisto for 3 week when I went back to Germany. Mephisto had a marvelous time with long walks, road trips and resting on the terrace in the sun and I had nothing to worry about. The communication was top with regular updates and pictures/videos. Nash is a wonderful, remarkable and fully reliable person with long-term experience in handling dogs. I highly recommend her and will def book her in the future whenever I need to leave the city without Mephisto.
Nasha has cared for my dog Pepper three separate times now, and each time I am so grateful to be able to leave Pepper in her experienced care. Pepper is reactive, has a bite history, and takes several different daily medications, and I trust Nasha to be able to keep Pepper and everyone around her safe. Nasha has lots of experience with reactive dogs, and her dedication to giving Pepper tons of attention, long walks, and outdoor time on the back patio has kept Pepper happy and calm. Nasha has also been great at communicating while Pepper is with her - I'm always delighted to receive her updates, and she's super responsive around scheduling and other needs. I wouldn't have been able to see friends and family out of town if I hadn't connected with Nasha, and I'm so glad I did.
We have a super anxious dog with some separation anxiety and Nasha was extremely patient and became friends with our dog over the weekend. It’s clear Nasha loves dogs and sent us pics and updates. Nasha did a great job making our dog feel comfortable and I would highly recommend Nasha.
Nasha took excellent care of Sherlock. She sent me constant updates, photos, and videos to show me how he was doing. This was the first time I've been away from him, and I felt so good leaving him with Nasha while I was dealing with a death in my immediate family. She is kind and compassionate and I didn't worry about Sherlock once while I was away from him. I will gladly use her again and highly recommend her to anyone who needs a dog sitter.

I have a large first floor apartment. No carpets. No other pets, no children. There are a few steps in the front and back. I have an enclosed outdoor back area, all concrete) for potty breaks and sunbathing. I have a med/large crate, as needed. I'm a licensed driver with a great record and a vehicle that allows for peace of mind in case of emergencies and fun trips.

Information Nasha T. would like to know about your pet
I like all the info, no tidbits are too much. Give me a sense of the dog's routine; separation anxiety?; sensitivity to loud noises?; begging for table scraps?; what's their command vocab?; feeding schedule?; tell me anything/everything!
A typical day
I like walking all over the city to different parks and trails. If your dog is a walker, we could go as far as the Schuykill trail or around FDR park. I wouldn't want to risk fleas or ticks so I'd likely stay on the beaten paths. I'd also avoid dog parks because there are too many variables, (unless your dog already has that routine). But, if your dog's a napper or cuddle-bug, I'm all about that, too. Fetch and training really is fun.

Availability
My boarding availability is flexible - weekdays and weekends are negotiable for me. I typically walk before 10am or after 5pm, sometimes short walks between midday work Zooms. I especially enjoy long walks (weather or doggy stamina permitting) and I never leave the poo 💩 behind. I also wipe butts and paws after walks bc I like to keep things clean 😁.
