Pet care experience
I cannot remember a day in my life that has not had a dog in it. I have worked with pet sitting dogs of all ages and sizes throughout the years. Growing up I have cared for cats, ferrets, fish, horses, goats, chickens, ducks, and of course dogs! I have a true passion for caring for animals and will treat them like my own. I have several years of pet sitting experience where clients have relied on me to walk, feed, and even administer medications to their pets. I also have experience handling reactive and/or behaviorally challenged canines. I work at an animal sanctuary as the assistant manager for the Behavior Team, where I am responsible for the care, and safety of 15 dogs and numerous cats. As of March 2022 I passed my CPDT exam and became a Certified Positive Reinforcement Professional Dog Trainer.
Reviews
Forever our favorite sitter!
Montana is great with our pets and I’d recommend her for anyone looking for a great pet sitter.
Consistently amazing - Montana is much loved by our pet and completely appreciated by the rest of us!
She is my dog's favorite visitor. When we tell her Montana is coming she is looking out the door all day!

Caring for your pets within the comfort of their home I will do whatever is necessary to make it a fun, enriching experience for both of us! Whether it be going on long walks, running around in a yard, playing with toys, going on a car ride, or working on training skills, almost anything is doable. I will fully honor and respect any formal instruction for your pet's care!
Information Montana V. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know any other important information about your pet such as any medical or behavioral needs so I can keep the visit as stress-free and fun as possible!
A typical day
It's my personal goal to stimulate your dogs physically and mentally. Whether it be challenging them with a new food puzzle, playing some fun attention games, or heading out on a nice walk in the surrounding hiking areas, we will always keep busy! If your dog isn't as active that's okay! A long drive with the windows down, or even some relaxing time in the sun will do!
