I love pets and would be happy to care for your pets while you are not at home! I have a doggy door where your pets can go out anytime to the fenced balcony to enjoy the sun and to a 4 by 2 patch of grass (the porch potty) if they need to go to the bathroom. I take my dog out on daily walks to Zilker Park and Shoal Creek, and am home whenever I am not in class. I am never out for more than 4 hours at a time and only have class Monday through Thursday! Your pets will love hanging out with my dog Isa and myself during their stay! Since I already have a dog, I have most things that are needed and a lot of experience with energetic dogs! My dog Isa was a very hyperactive dog who had the ability to drive me crazy when she was a puppy, but I have my best memories with her as a puppy. She ate my bed and my couch when her teeth were coming out, ignoring all her chew toys! I learned to supervise my pet at all times when at home, and I even ended up leaving a camera in the living room to check on her while I was in class! I have a doggy fence to leave the dogs in the living room while I am gone, but they have access to the balcony from there, and all of their chew toys. If your dog is one of the dogs who likes to watch TV, I would be willing to leave the TV on for them! I am open to suggestions and willing to follow instructions for your pets needs! About this sitter: I always stress when I have to leave my dog, so I know how it feels like to want to find the perfect sitter. I'm her! I will take your dog(s) on walks and they will not even notice that you are gone! I have had pets my whole life and enjoy caring for them, so you should feel very safe leaving your pets with me. I have been on Rover for a while now and have had great experiences taking care of other people's pets. I enjoy having a temporary pet, it takes the long term commitment and the expenses out of the package, but I still get to enjoy having a dog for a weekend or two. I honestly am on here simply because I love dogs and have lots of fun being around them! Why I love dog sitting I love dogs and have had dogs my whole life! My first dog was a poodle, Ania, after the movie Anastasia, and I got her for Christmas when I was 5. She passed away after 14 healthy and happy years of life. The most interesting thing about Ania, we took her to a great vet who spayed her (or said he did) and five years later she got pregnant! We got a funky looking chihuahua/poodle mix whom we loved very much. Unfortunately she developed a tumor and passed away when she was 5. Now I have a Pom, Isa. She is a very happy dog who loves to run around and play all day! She is so energetic, so we're always playing fetch and going on walks to the park. She's great with all dogs and loves it when we have company! About my yard I have a balcony with a medium sized dog door, where the dogs can go in or out at their liking. It is fenced in and I put extra fencing so that only a small paw could fit through, but they can enjoy the sun and the wind on the balcony, and there is a porch potty that they can use! My experience administering medication It depends on the medication. I am not comfortable with needles, but anything else is fine, as long as I have instructions on how to administer it!
