Due to allergies in the home, we are only able to take non-shedding or very low-shed dogs at this time. Sorry for the inconvenience- I wish I could care for all the fur babies! Meet and greet needed only if your pup doesn't typically get along with dogs, or you are unsure. I work a fully remote corporate job during the week, so your pet will never be alone for more than a quick errand M-F. Your pup will be given the utmost care and attention when staying with us. I pride myself on excellent communication and sending frequent updates on your pet's stay. I only take one dog at a time, so your dog will have plenty of belly rubs and attention, as well as an energetic playmate with my playful doodle. Please be prepared to drop your dog off so that they can be slowly introduced to my doodle (Betsy)- she is fearful of new adults (but has no reaction to children). I've been active in the rescue community for twenty years; I am punctual, calm, friendly and communicative. I've completed the fear free course, designed to help caregivers understand how to reduce fear, anxiety, and stress in animals when handling them. I know how important it is to find a reliable and trustworthy caretaker for your fur baby. I do have two responsible school-aged children who are comfortable around dogs of all sizes, and know to respect them and their boundaries. Your pup will be kept inside in the air conditioning, with access to a fully enclosed yard through a dog door or by signaling that they need to go out. In the summer, we have a dog pool to play in, with plenty of toys, treats and snuggles to boot. Every stay will come with a full brush-out, several walks, playtime ant one of the nearby parks and plenty of photos.
