Walking my pittie is a fav pasttime
Pet care experience
After becoming a surrogate dog Mom(moved in with my fiancé and his then 2 dogs) 5 years ago and I can’t imagine ever having a dog free home now. We have a large home with a fenced in yard and a very chill pittie/mastif mix who is just as content snuggling on the couch as he is going for walks. We also have a 3 legged fat cat who we'll keep in a spare bedroom when other pups are around. His name is Hercules and for the first 4 years of his life was never around dogs so he tends to be a little shy if it’s any dog he doesn’t know. I have a fantastic job that allows me flexibility to work from home as needed and is a 7 min drive away from my office if I'm on site and need to pop back home. I used to travel for work so I understand how important it is to have someone reliable and great to take care of your pets while you’re out of town, even more so if it’s short notice. We were a 2 dog household until last fall, so Rover is a way for me to keep our current dog Joe active and social, get my multiple doggo fix while also helping out owners with their pups. Our neighborhood is perfect for walks of any length and our backyard is great for a little play action or laying out in the sun or in the shade under our covered patio. We have access to an additional fenced in very large grassy plot, 1/2 block away that is great for tossing balls or longer stretches of sprints if your dog likes that sort of thing. I take our dog on car rides to nearby Forest Park or Tower Grove Park and he loves going hiking in the fall to places like Castlewood, LimeKiln and the Lewis and Clark Trail. We’ve spent a lot of time with leash training and I’ve been able to work with him where he can walk beside me off leash on hikes. Our dog has free reign of our house but can only get on the couch and bed when given permission. We have numerous baby gates available in our house if needed and he also has a large dog crate that can be used.

Mollie took care of our 3 cats and dog over the Thanksgiving holiday week. I had some anxiety about leaving our dog behind but when we met Mollie I was reassured everything would be fine. She would give us updates on how everyine was doing and quickly responed to messages. She was also very accommodating with our needs. We have a older dog that requires medication. Bailey seemed very content when we came home. Bailey usually refuses to eat while we are gone but ate for Mollie! She also took him for daily walks which I am sure he loved. The cats also seemed content. They had no special needs outside of the standard care. We were very pleased and will definitely book with Mollie in the future.
Mollie was wonderful when I was out of town. She was very prompt on checking on my cat, Jerry. She updated me each day with a short message and a couple of photos. She even offered to stop by another day, if necessary. I will definitely contact Mollie again in the future. Thanks again!
Mollies is a wonderful dog sitter. She looks after my pup Joe on a daily basis. Joe has really taking a liking to her as well. She really brings out the energy in him. He is an old pup after all, but when he's with her he seems to forget about his aches and pains. I couldn't think of a better person to dog sit.
