I'll treat your dog like my own!

Pet care experience

Hi, I'm Mitch! I'm a musician and music educator looking to spend some time with some wonderful dogs. I've been taking care of dogs for close to 10 years now ranging from your beloved American golden retriever to high maintenance therapy trained dogs. I love spending time with dogs whether it's outside playing fetch or staying inside together and just chilling all day and night. My availability is pretty much open throughout the summer, which is great for your pup since I will be able to spend a lot of time playing their favorite game and running around the yard with them! I've taken care of multiple dogs at once and our feline friends as well. I hope to meet you and your pup soon!

We have two new rescues who are very scared and barked and growled a lot. He handled it well and professionally. The dogs were well cared for. We highly recommend him.

Nothing is more comforting than knowing your 4 legged companions are in good hands while you are away! Mitch made sure my two rabbits were comfortable and fed. Any bun parent knows how unpredictable and challenging their behavior can be and finding a caregiver with the patience is not easy. Rabbits can produce up to 200 fecal pellets a day, times 2 buns, times 4-5 days= a lot, plus, they can decide to pee outside the litter box at any time and that takes awareness from the caregiver. Awareness and adaptability. Mitch had the insight to realize the temperature in the house necessitated the use of the fan I left handy. I had invested in a camera a few years ago and having that plus a patient caregiver make holidays possible. Mitch was willing to be available in case the camera showed there was an emergency. House rabbit care is not for everyone. It is good to have a list of reliable caregivers. Mitch is on my list!

Mitchell has provided much support for my family and our dog over the past years. He carries himself as a kind and respectful young man who cares passionately about the pets in his care. He goes out of his way to ensure that animals (and people) are treated with the utmost care when under his supervision. He is mindful of pet diets and nutrition, the need for frequent exercise, and the effect of positive energy on pet emotions. It is without reservation that I recommend Mitchell to anyone and everyone in need of a pet sitter.

Our old, fragile Enzo was so comfortable with Mitch! We were nervous as we had just gotten back from traveling and had never left him for 8 days before with someone else, but Mitch gave us daily updates and pictures that we greatly appreciated. He asked good questions at the meet and greet that showed us how responsible he is. He left our place clean as we left it, and even took care of our fish! We are so thankful Mitch could keep Enzo company and would use him again.

Information Mitch M. would like to know about your pet

I would like to know how your dog acts around other dogs. Are they friendly and is it a good idea to stick around, or should I stay on the opposite side of the road to stay away? Also, how friendly is your dog when someone walks in? Do they like to growl and put on a mean face, or will I be getting overwhelmed with licks and love?

A typical day

All pups will receive an endless amounts of bellyrubs, never ending games of fetch and catch and will be able to enjoy long walks on the beach and on familiar blocks by your house.
