💯 Attention for Your 🐶

Pet care experience

Hello there! I’m a dog lover, previous dog owner, and happy pet sitter of friends and family. Currently not in a place to have my own pet (sadly!), but would love to look after yours as if he/she were my own. We treat every furry animal like a family member, going as far as only taking one client at a time & rarely leaving your pet alone. I’m extremely responsible, big animal lover, and live in a large house that I would be more than happy to share with your furry friend for a few nights!! Currently live in a 2500 sf home that I share with my mother, lots of backyard space that is partially fenced - but no worries, your dog will never be outside unattended or unleashed. We live within walking distance to a lot of trails where your pet will have lots of places to walk and explore before coming back home. At home, your dog will have free reign of the house. They will have plenty of space to play catch, do their zoomies, and lounge around. I’m looking to make a little bit of extra cash as I’ve needed to take own some unexpected financial responsibilities. Let’s help each other out and allow me to look after your dogs while you are away!

Miranda and her mom always do an awesome job taking care of our dog, Charley! He looks forward to his stay with them every time, and the pictures we get show what a great time he has. We are so fortunate and cannot thank them enough!

Our dog, Charley, always looks forward to his stay with Miranda! When we dropped him off, he had the biggest smile and barked with joy knowing where he was. We get the best pictures of his time with Miranda on walks around the neighborhood with all the birds and horses around. We are so appreciative of how well he is taken care of and look forward to having him stay with Miranda in the future!

Grateful for Miranda and her mom! The daily pictures and updates of Milo put me at ease knowing Milo was in good hands while I was away. They took such great care of Milo and I would definitely use them again!

Horrible experience! My dog was poisoned due to Miranda's negligence. I received a text from Miranda on the last evening of a 3 night stay that my dog Daphne ate an entire loaf of raisin bread. This landed her in the ER and immediately admitted into the ICU for 48 hours and heavy sedation while they tried and successfully saved Daphne's life from kidney failure. Thanks to Rover for the $25k coverage or this would be a much bigger problem for Miranda. Miranda did not take responsibility for Daphne's ability to gain access to the raisin bread and instead transferred blame to me by saying, "And the bread was beyond reach - oe they are our own. And I wish we had known that she goes searching for food when by herself". Obviously, the bread was NOT beyond reach, and even more obvious that dogs search for food. How on earth do you assume a dog will not search for food when left alone? Nevermind that I specifically asked Miranda not to leave Daphne alone. For what? To shop at Costco when I was picking her up early the next morning. To be fair, other than nearly killing my dog, Miranda and her mother provided seemingly good care.

Safety, trust & environment

I believe honesty and being upfront is one of the best ways to have a successful sitter-pet owner relationship. With that in mind, I will always text and update you daily, send photos, and let you know how your pet is doing. It’s amazing what a photo can do to calm anxiety so I try to send as many photos as is reasonable.

Information Miranda L. would like to know about your pet

The more information you can provide the better. If you have an instruction sheet, please send me a copy or post it on your Rover profile. It’s always helpful to know your dog’s typical schedule (meal times, walk time frames, and how well he/she is potty trained). Please also include any quirks your dog might have (ie: how they do with other dogs, kids, strangers, what prompts their anxiety, whether or not they jump on furniture or/counters). This information will only help us ensure your pet has the safest, most caring environment. The more detail, the better!!

A typical day

Depending on your dog’s activity level, I am happy to play fetch, run around the house & “chase”, walk the dog on the local streets and private trails.
