Pet care experience
I’m a lifelong pet owner and love all animals—big and small! I recently moved to Colorado for work and miss my family’s pup, so am here to be able to hang out with some more furry friends until I can get one of my own. For over ten years, I’ve been caring for other people’s pets, always making sure their pets are treated with lots of love. I have worked with animals of all ages from puppies to older animals, even have put on doggy diapers! I have also worked with animals with different behavioral problems or those that have medications. I love all animals and also have experience with cats, guinea pigs, and rabbits. I am happy to keep your animal with whatever routine they have to make them as comfortable as possible. One of my favorite parts of Colorado is all of the trails and would love to take your pup on some adventures (with your approval of course). Otherwise lots of walks if that’s something that your pup is interested in too! I’ll be sure to treated your special pets with lots of love when you’re away! :)

Would give Mikaela 10 stars if I could she was hands down amazing!! Spoiled our pup by taking him on a ton of hikes/adventures and was so open at communication I never once had a doubt our pup was in good hands. Will be sure to reach out again for more care.
Mikaela was wonderful!! She did everything exactly as planned and our pups adore her. She went out of her way to give our dogs extra love and attention. We’ll definitely be using her again for pet sitting.
Mikaela is absolutely wonderful! She was able to take care of my dog at the last minute and responded very quickly. Not only was she flexible with her availability but she went out of her way to make sure my 10 year old extra skittish dog could be as comfortable as possible for her first time being alone at home overnight. She did a great job keeping me updated and was patient enough to hide in the kitchen so my dog would eat her time sensitive raw food in another room and even tried to clean up my dog's stinky poop accident from the rug. Also my 6yo human daughter really liked Mikaela after our brief meet and greet and kept asking if she could be her babysitter sometime. ;) Will definitely be using her again when needed!
Mikaela was great. Very attentive to our little guy. Communicated well before and throughout the whole process, so we knew that our Rudy was in great care. Couldn’t recommend her more highly!

I also love to go for walks and hikes and have a dog-friendly car if that’s something you’re comfortable with so would take your dog for lots of adventures! I’m also going to give your pets lots of attention at your home and can read there or work on other things to keep them company, after lots of fetch or other fun of course!

I recently moved to Golden to start a job at NREL. However, I’m missing my family’s dog back home, so am hoping to get my animal fix in through this! My job is very flexible with hours and WFH availability.
