The best PAWssible sitter for you!
Pet care experience
Hi, my name is Mika! I have been a dog trainer for 7 years and an animal caretaker for 10years. I am a certified Canine Good Citizen (CGC) evaluator. I have above average knowledge of how to care for the our furry friends. I have been trained in subcutaneous injections so if your pet requires insulin I can definitely administer that for them. I administer oral medications to dogs on a daily basis as well. I adore what i do and love to surround myself with the joy that animals bring me.Hopefully I get a chance to meet your playful pets and the opportunity to build a strong ongoing relationship with your furry friend AND you!
Reviews
Great sitter, super flexible and very easy to work with! So welcoming and friendly, and sent us lots of photos. Thanks for watching Hugo!
Just like most dog people, our dogs are our babies and I wouldn't trust them to just anyone. We've had Mika stay at our house and watch our dogs twice now while we were on vacation and she did an amazing job both times. Last year, we had 2 seniors in our pack that needed special care and she was incredible with them. She sends updates and pictures and you can tell how much fun they're having while we're gone. The peace of mind that comes with having a trustworthy and honest person take care of your dogs makes your time away that much more enjoyable. I can't say enough nice things about Mika and would recommend her for a variety of pet services.
Mika was so kind & our dog had such a great time at her house. I would definitely use her again!
Mika is awesome! She's very kind and responsive, and she did a great job with Ronnie. We'll definitely hire her again!

I have one small dog that is very well socialized. I also nanny a dog throughout the week that is also highly socialized and well mannered (I trained them 😉). Due to my lack of fencing in my yard, we go on several long walks during their time with me. If puppies or special needs dogs are involved we will adjust potty break frequency to accommodate.

Please inform me of the following before drop off: -medical issues or concerns -temperament concerns -feeding instructions/eating habits -typical energy levels -bad habits -adverse reactions to being left alone -favorite toys and ways to play -typical sleeping situation -not potty trained - spayed/neutered
A typical day
We will go on several long walks throughout their visit (weather permitting). We also have TONS of toys to play tug of war and fetch! Often times if I only have 1 or 2 dogs I end up taking them to a park to walk around on a 30ft lead. It’s can be very chaotic with more than a couple dogs unless they are well socialized and leash trained. There is one child in the home who is very comfortable around all kinds of dogs and a cat who stays in our loft when dogs are over (by choice). Our loft is gated off for that reason. We are and upstairs apartment and has one large deck and one medium deck. I usually secure the entrance to my steps to allow the dogs to walk inside and outside as they please.
