I love ALL animals, great and small
Pet care experience
I am kind and gentle with a soft voice. Yet I know when to be stern with a sincere authority. Animals seem to know they can trust me and can feel safe and secure.

Michelle is the greatest!!!
Michelle was wonderful and my dogs had such a great time going on such a generous walk on this beautiful sunny day!!
Michelle Has taken the best care of my dogs for several years and they get so excited with every walk and visit. She makes sure that she takes water and ocasional treats. She is always on time and even plays with them when she gets back. The is an animal activist and extremely trustworthy. Betsy Graber
Michelle has been a trusted sitter for our dogs for many years. She loves animals and our dogs love and trust her. She also has been a long time cat mom and does a great job caring for them. I trust her with ours and I'm confident you can trust her with yours.

Yes, it would vary. If at a client's home, I would follow the instructions provided. If at my home, I would try to do the same or what would seem best for the client's pet so long as it would be in line with the client's instructions. Naturally I would ensure there is always fresh water. I would allow the pet to relieve itself on schedule (as opposed to making the pet wait until for forever). I would play with and love the pet as though it were my pet. And I always pay attention to the pet to see how it's walking, drinking, eating, laying around as well as playing. If something seems off, I would immediately notify the pet's owner. If need be, I wouldn't be adverse to bathing the pet; but this would be discussed with the pet's owner.
Information Michelle G. would like to know about your pet
If just walking the dog, I would say knowing whether the dog is challenging on a leash and is sociable, as well as if there are any physical ailments to consider, as this would help me to monitor the pet while on our walks. I can handle challenging or physical ailments, as I am very patient, but it's just good to know a bit beforehand. It would also be good to know if there are any natural (and/or manmade) events that the dog might be afraid of, i.e., thunder, rain, or loud cars/motorcycles, etc. If having to feed the dog, it would be necessary to know the particulars as to the schedule and what and how much the dog is to be fed and whether the dog can be given treats and whether the dog has any allergies, or the like.
A typical day
I love walking through the neighborhood saying hi to other people walking their pets and ensuring good socialization skills are at play. I also enjoy going to Colee Hammock Park where there are beautiful shade trees (large Oaks) and a cool fresh breeze off the New River. Also, I carry bottle water for the pups and can take pictures if the pet owner would prefer I do so.

Availability
I'm currently in between jobs. So when not interviewing I'm pretty much available days and evenings. Once I land a permanent position (as a Legal Assistant), I will be available early mornings (up to 8AM) and again in the evenings after 630PM, and weekends. I drive an SUV.
