My name is Mike and I would love to have the opportunity to care of you pet! I’m a highly experienced provider of independent professional pet care services here in NYC. I'm available on a full-time basis for dog walks, pet visits, and overnight sittings. It's sad for me that I'm not able to have pets in my current residence in the east village, so I'll be eager to devote my full attention to caring for yours! I enjoy working with animals of any size or temperament, and am very accustomed to caring for city pets with aggression and anxiety issues. I have a soft spot for shy, grumpy pets and love trying to win them over. I have extensive experience providing dogs with exercise and training reinforcement on long walks in crowded city neighborhoods. I make sure to prioritize their safety while still trying to make it fun for them. I pride myself on being highly communicative and transparent with owners during sittings and after walks. I'll make sure to report back about any changes in your pet's behavior that I notice, and will ask for your advice if there's something I think I can do better based on their reactions. As I've written so often before about Michael's stay with our three kitties, he is simply the best sitter around!
Michael watches our three kits whenever we go out of town. They are always so cheerful and well adjusted when we return. The feral we took in also takes big steps forward after he stays. Michael is a rock star. He cares deeply for our animals, and we so appreciate it!

I do appreciate knowing about their habits, schedules, and any behavioral concerns or triggers ahead of time, so that I can do the best job possible. We can talk through all of that if you think I could be a good fit.
A typical day
I'll follow your guidance when it comes to your pet's daily routine! I find that it's generally best to maintain a sense of normalcy for them when their family is away, in case they have separation anxiety or need a little time to adapt to a new person in their space.

I do this full-time. My schedule is entirely flexible but I generally walk dogs on a daily basis from 9 to 5 while providing overnight visiting care in the nights and morning.
