*******Apologies in advance, but I cannot provide dog sitting for the following PUREBREED pups ******* *American Pit Bull Terrior* *Bull Terrior* *Staffordshire Bull Terrior* *American Staffordshire Terrior* *American Bully* If you have a pup with a MIX of one of the above bully breeds, I will absolutely consider boarding your pup after a scheduled before hand meet and greet. With that having been said, I’ve had at least one dog all my life except for a few years in college. My home is on a quiet acre in Maple Ridge, BC and is quiet, calm and comfortable with a nice fenced back yard. I feed my dogs twice a day and give bed-time treats - I have a thing about cold, fresh water being available so I keep multiple water bowls (inside and outside) and replace and replenish them frequently. I have a big, dog-friendly car and I take my dogs with me when I run errands. Unless the weather is bad, I walk my dogs in the afternoon and we usually go for about a half hour - sometimes more, sometimes less depending on what my dogs feel like. I want to stress this is a very laid back dog environment. I’m absolutely NOT your place if you have a HIGH ENERGY dog (ex. purebred husky, super young lab/german shep, etc.). PLEASE be honest if your dog is high energy and you’re desperate —maybe I can make an exception, but let’s talk about it. All dogs are good dogs and I love them all the same, but all dogs don’t fit in every environment. I’ll help you out if I can :) If your pup stays with me, drop off and pick up are between 8am - 6pm. If you need to drop off or pick up later, you’ll need to book an extra day either/both days. Boarding *days* are on a 24/hour basis. Ex.: If you drop off your pup at 3pm, you need to pick up your best buddy by 3pm the following day. I’ll work with you for a bit of flexibility on that, but flexibility is 30 minutes or less - talk to me if you have extenuating circumstances. I work from home, but run errands from time to time. I will take pups with me if they enjoy car rides and weather permitting (not hot out) but if not, I’ll occasionally leave pups alone while I run errands. I’m never gone more than 2 hours. I have both front and back yard fenced areas, but I don’t leave pups outside to play unless I’m with them. I have a dog friendly home that’s low stress, quiet and calm. Pups are allowed on the furniture (that’s what covers are for) and on the beds, if their owners allow that at home. I’m home all the time except for an occasional errand run, so your pup will have lots of company and opportunities to go outside to play or walk. If your pup likes cars, I have a big SUV and they’re welcome to ride along - my vehicle is dog friendly :) I have one dog - he is an older retired registered medical service animal. He’s not a high energy pup and because of his service training, likes to stay close to me. He’s older (though he looks younger) so he tends to sleep a lot. He’s been around many, many rover pups and gets along well with them.
