I'm a recent college grad (Wellesley College), current fellow in a service program similar to AmeriCorps, and avid dog-lover who cannot have a pet due to my housing. I love to meet and care for new dog and cat friends! I have experience with both playful, energetic dogs and shy, anxious dogs. I’ve done tons of cat sitting as well, from one to five cats in a household. If you want your dog to learn certain commands, I'll help reinforce them. Have multiple dogs (or other animal friends)? No problem! I have experience house sitting up to four dogs or five cats in the same home at once. I love all dogs, from lapdogs to Saint Bernards. I enjoy taking long walks and playing games with energetic dogs, but also give great reassurance and attention to older/more housebound dogs, too. I have worked with therapy dogs and dogs with their own disabilities. I can administer pills and oral syringe medication to cats and dogs, although I do not have experience with intravenous medication. I also have experience with multi-pet households including dogs, cats, and fish. I am open to learning about your other caged animal friends including bunnies, birds, hamsters, etc. I share a house with several other dog lovers who are also happy to run, play fetch, and relax with your dog on the couch. I typically work 10 am to 6 pm Monday through Friday so during the week I may not be the best for young puppies or dogs who need walks during the work day, but I am happy to watch dogs with greater needs on the weekend. Every situation is different, and I am open to discussing custom rates that fit you and your pet. Whatever your pet's personality and needs, I want to make it a great experience for animal and human alike. For house sitting and drop in visits, I typically drive so I prefer houses and apartments with parking, but I am always open to making it work for the right family!
