I have lived with and loved dogs all of my life. I believe dogs benefit from (and deserve) attention and affection and that they want that human contact. In addition to taking care of my own dogs, I have been a pet-sitter for friends and neighbors for all of my adult life. I have a large, fenced in back yard for running and playing where the dogs can go inside and out multiple times during the day. In addition to that, I usually walk the dogs who are in my care for two to three miles each day and for those who are very high energy or who need more exercise, I take them for a 3 mile run on a wooded path. I work from home so dogs virtually always have human company.
