Hey! My name is Melanie and I am a 2nd year Veterinary Technician student at Georgian College. I’ve been caring for other people's pets for over 10 years! I have experience dealing with dogs of all different ages, breeds, and health conditions and I would love to care for your precious pets! I got my first dog at a young age and trained and showed him in conformation dog shows. Since then I have spent many hours training and showing a variety of breeds for others as well as dog/cat sitting. I currently own an in tact male Sheltie who is 2 years old named Logan and a sweet 5 year old cat named Randy! I also share my apartment with my boyfriend, Ian, who helps me care for the animals. I look forward to hearing from you and your furry friend! :)

Melanie helped me out with short notice. She was friendly and took to my dog right away. She has a mini collie which was awesome and my Bella found a new friend to play with. She was great at drop off and pick up. I would highly recommend this sitter. Will use her again for sure.
So glad we found Melanie on Rover.com. We connected very last minute and she was very accommodating and took great care of our ‘little old lady” 16 year old Cockapoo and we were able to avoid putting her in a kennel. Melanie sent us unexpected updates and pictures everyday. Our girl settled in well under Melanie’s care and when we picked her up she was the same happy dog we dropped off. Melanie is a close friend and I would trust her with pretty much anything, including my pets. She has looked after my cats, dogs, and plants on many occasions when I have gone out of town. She loves her dogs with her whole being, and she knows more about dogs than anyone I know. Melanie is very responsible, puntucal, and professional. You won’t be disappointed! (Neither will your dogs)
