Pet care experience
I have gone through training up to advanced level with my first dog, and canine good citizen training with my second dog. I believe there is a balance between cuddles, and exercise for dogs, and that balance is different for every dog depending on their breed, age, size, health and temperament. I have watched many dogs over the past 10 years, including exercise, socialization, bathing, and snuggles. I have experience with a special needs dog who was paralyzed and required around the clock care and medications. I treat every pet like they are my own “baby” and I look forward to loving yours!

Megan was wonderful and made sure our dogs got along before I left for the day. She is very knowledgeable about how to handle them and made me feel confident that my dog was in good hands. He had so much fun with her dog and was nice and tired out for when we got home. This was my first time having someone watch my do so it was very nerve wracking, but Megan sent frequent updates to make me feel at ease.
Megan not only understands the details that come with caring for a pet, she really does adore animals. Megan watched my dog for a few weeks and gave him constant attention and activity while keeping me updated with frequent pictures. My dog also had a health issue at that time & she was able to give him his meds twice a day & take care care of all of his needs, including a bath . I would definitely have Megan take care of my dog again.

I treat all pets like they are my own spoiled fur baby. I believe every pet is different, but they all deserve love and company. With every pet being different, I will cater to what your pet needs, wether it be extra belly rubs, cuddles, play time, or personal space…as well as using positive reinforcement with treats and/ or affection. I will abide by any requests you have for safety and restrictions for your pets. I have experience with strict medication instructions, and I have access to emergency pet advice through my pet insurance. I love all animals, but especially those with fur and paws. Every animal is different, and I would LOVE to get to know you and your fur baby!

Think of me as a nanny for your fur baby- please let me know if your pet has any special requirements or routines you would like me to follow. Does your pet need any medications? Does your pet go potty right after eating? Do you soak your pet’s food before feeding? Do you give your dog commands like “down” or “stay” prior to releasing them to their food? How can I make your pets feel more comfortable while I’m caring for them?
A typical day
I love to exercise the dogs mind and body- from focused enrichment to playing fetch and going for walks. I love taking my dog for runs at the park, or walks around our neighborhood, but playing fetch in our big backyard is great exercise too!
