I know what it’s like to worry about your furry friend while you’re gone, and I promise you won’t have a single doubt with me. As soon as you meet us, you’ll see that we’re the kind of home you want to leave your pet while you’re on travel. My dog, and dogs that I sit are at the center of attention, all day every day. I work from home full time with a huge yard, dog door and flexible schedule, so you get constant care of your pup! We have the best toys, dog beds and the largest couch to sprawl out on. My dog loves companions and can't wait to meet yours before we bring them into our home. If you're looking for someone who is well organized, active, and a great communicator to take care of your pup - then Maya is your girl. Maya loves pets and it's clear that they love her too! Every photo that Maya sends of my dog Rou when I'm out shows him out on nice walks happy as can be. He loves Maya! Maya also does a great job of taking care of your place while you're away. I've never come home to a house that was different then how I left it. Maya has taken care of Rou a dozen times and we were so bummed to hear that she was moving to D.C - so if you're in the D.C area don't miss out on working with Maya. Your pets will thank you!
Maya is responsible and absolutely loves dogs! She will spoil them just the right amount, and loves to take dogs on long walks or runs with her.
Maya was our consistent and wonderful dog-sitter for us in Minneapolis before she left us for DC. One of our dogs is a younger, part border collie and Maya was great to take him on runs and always made sure he got the exercise he needed when she was dog-sitting. We also have a terrier and Maya was more than willing to have both dogs when we went out of town, which we really appreciated. I fully recommend her - you won't find another dog-sitter who will be as flexible and responsible as Maya!

I have a completely fenced yard (6 feet tall). Dogs are free to go in and out the dog door. We take lots of frisbee breaks between meetings to run around. Safety is the utmost concern for us. We always will do a meet and greet to make sure our pups will get along. We don’t take dogs with history of aggression with other dogs. This is for your safety and ours.

I want to know everything about your pup! When do they wake up, eat, take walks, what their favorite toys are, any quirks they have (my pup hates skateboards :)). I want to keep your dog's routine and make them feel comfortable.
A typical day
After the work day is over we do a ton of neighborhood walks, trips to breweries and hikes! Our neighborhood is quiet, so your pup can relax in a residential area without a lot of traffic.

I am home all day and that makes it easy to care for your pet! I like to step outside with the dogs when I am between meetings, and give them extra play time during the day.
