Petsitting - loving home in Belmont

Pet care experience

We are a family of three (daughter 8 years old) with no pets who would love to do some pet-sitting for others. Both my wife and I had dogs and cats as children and we also used to foster pets for the Humane Society of Springfield MA and Boston MA. Our home is very pet friendly, and your dog would get lots of love and attention as my wife works from home. We would also enjoy cat-sitting if needed. We enjoy going on daily walks and would not mind a very active dog, provided that he/she is ok with children. Our daughter has experience with dogs, is very gentle and kind with them, and is excited about the idea of pet-setting again! Our apartment has an extra, empty room that your dog could stay in through the night. We are also fine with taking in multiple dogs. Please let us know if you have any additional questions or concerns and we would happy to discuss them! Thank you! Meet my pets No other pets. About my yard We have a backyard, but it is not fenced in. If we are in the backyard doing something, we typically bring the dog out on a leash to wander around with one of us, or sometimes tie him up so that he can sit in the shade and spend time with us. We don't like to leave him out of any family activities if we can help it. My experience administering medication Yes, we have done so for dogs we have owned and also for cats.

Great family. Great care. Roscoe had a tough week with sore legs and some stomach issues and they were great to him monitoring what he ate and making him feel comfortable. He loved the house and the yard. Your pet is in great hands while you are away.

Shef had a great time with this family! They helped take care of his special allergies and gave him lots of exercise and attention. Thank you so much, especially to Evelynn, for giving Shef such loving care for a month!

Information Max L. would like to know about your pet

It's important that the dog is OK with being around our 8 year old daughter; other than that, we have no particular preferences.

A typical day

Here's where we'll take our walks We like to mix it up. There are many parks around the area, and we love to go for hikes, or just walk around the neighbor hoods. Your dog's sleeping arrangement We have a separate, empty room, that the dog can sleep in and we do not mind if they need to sleep in our room. Time I'll spend with your dog We typically take three walks per day, with the duration dependent upon the physical needs and abilities of the dog. The whole family likes playing with dogs we sit for throughout the day.
