Pet care experience
I've been caring for my friend's, family's, and client's animals since 2012. I've also volunteered at an animal shelter, and worked at some pet kennel/groomers. I have experience working with mentally and physically disabled animals and I'm completely comfortable with most animals, (I can't do spiders). I'm interested in making long-term/repeat clients. I like to build a foundation of trust by meeting with my clients beforehand, not only for both of us, and the pets, to feel safe and comfortable, but meeting beforehand gives each of us time to discuss how best to care for your pets, and I can get to know the environment I'll be working in.

My Ella is slow to warm up to strangers, but she took to Max like old friends right away. I feel great leaving Ella (and Killer of course) with Max in the future.

Max is amazing! I reached out to him needing a last minute walk for our dogs and he made himself available right away. He is so attentive and truly cares for animals like they are his own. 10/10 absolutely recommend!

Most clients with a fenced in backyard make it easier to let them run around, but I still keep a constant eye out, just in case I get a Houdini, or the neighbors dogs come outside and try to start issues. Inside, I make sure I leave nothing around that they can accidently eat or destroy. Toys are always supervised. Dogs that need locked up before I leave the house are always secure, doors are locked, electronics are off, and I try not to be gone for too long.

The most important things for me to know: Does your pet have any special requirements? Do they have a routine? Are there any restrictions or boundaries you have for me? (Especially if I'm staying in your home, such as "No dogs on the couch." or "Don't enter the bedroom.")
A typical day
I like the day to be structured with a fair amount of fun scattered throughout the day. Every client and each of their animals, like a number of different things, so I'm always happy to accommodate whatever the client prefers, but any special requirements are always met first, such as medications, or other morning routines. Some days I like waking up with a good breakfast, lots of morning pets, and either a walk outside, yard time, or playing in the house if there's a safe, approved area. The afternoons are always different, but typically relaxing, inside or outside, or whatever your pet decides they want to do for the day. Afternoon is also the time I would take to give baths, do a bit of grooming, training, ect. Evening is usually time for dinner and lots of cuddles, maybe short playtime to get your pet tired, before heading off to bed.
