Pet care experience
My decision to welcome dogs into my boutique farm stay environment arose from my own experiences trying to find a boarding situation that I was comfortable with for my dog. I wanted my dog to have fun, enjoy new experiences, feel like he was in a home, not a kennel. Most importantly, I didn’t want to worry about him when I was on a vacation. As I am primarily working from home now, I am able to give other pet owners that peace of mind as their dogs have a blast on the farm. While working in Los Angeles over the last 5 years, I solely used The Healthy Spot daycare and lots of dog parks for my beloved Jack Russell Terrier, Hugh, and as a result he is a sweet, well socialized pal! We affectionately call him Little Lord Fauntleroy. Our 40 acre horse farm in Senoia has a huge enclosed covered arena for exercise and fun on those bad weather days, including a doggie agility course. We have a fenced yard attached to the house for more safe play, with a Juliana pig named Wyatt, 2 mini-sheep, 4 hens, and lots of things to explore in the confines of the yard. We enjoy numerous walking trails around the property for exploration. I have had both dogs and horses all of my life and ran a successful horse boarding business, with client’s dogs always encouraged & welcomed.
Reviews
Maureen was so wonderful with our three babies!! They were so tired from all the fun activities that they slept for an entire day after they returned home. It was like sending kids to summer camp on her farm with her menagerie of animals! Maureen is very friendly and was great about sending pictures and videos, giving updates, and responding to texts. One of our dogs is a senior who needs special attention, and she couldn't have done a better job of handling that responsibility. They all love Maureen and were very well cared for. Maureen and her sweet dog Hugh even comforted my dog Beau in her bed during a thunderstorm, which Beau is terrified of. I really feel she went out of her way to provide the best care for my dogs, especially for my senior Joey. I HIGHLY recommend Maureen and have already requested my next booking!
Maureen is awesome! Luna had a wonderful time on the farm. She was well taken care of and loved spending time with all the animals. Maureen took care of her like her own and we got pictures and updates throughout her stay. Thank you! We will be back soon
I needed a dog sitter last minute and was starting to worry that I wouldn’t find someone. I was really appreciative that Maureen asked to have a meet and greet beforehand to make sure all the pups personalities meshed well together. From the moment I met her I could tell our furbaby was in good hands! The property is set up so the dogs can run and play on the farm, but they’re also fenced in to keep them safe. They can come in the house any time they like and she takes them on little hikes around the property to get the full farm life experience with all the different smells and animals. I got constant updates and felt that our girl was in good hands the entire trip. I also love knowing that all tips and donations go to the rescued animals and it’s helping her re-build this amazing little slice of heaven at Willow Dell Farms. We plan on going back again and again!
Ralph had a wonderful stay! Maureen welcomed our puppy and made him feel right at home. She sends plenty of pictures and videos of all the fun on the farm! Im so happy we found her! She will be the first one I call when in need of boarding or daycare! Thanks so much! ?

I have a very pet friendly home and farm. If your dog is crate trained and likes to relax in their own space (our Jack Russell likes to go into his crate) we support that. We leave his crate open so he can put himself away. If your pet jumps into our laps, they are equally encouraged! We are responsible animal owners, inoculations, heart worm medications and flea and tick control is of utmost importance. I do have the fenced yard treated for mosquitos and ticks monthly in the summer. I don't raise my voice or strike an animal. If there is a need for correction, including aggression correction, I will simply use water- a squirt, or splash (possibly a hefty splash) of water.

A typical day
The farm is full of sights and smells! If your dogs is curious, they will love it! We will meet horses and riders as we explore the land on a leash. If your dog is more of a couch potato, don't worry, we have several to lounge on.. and the fenced yard/deck is interesting to lay on and watch the world go by... The veggie garden is usually a fun place to explore as well!

I am an early riser, so we are up and enjoying the sunrise together in the fenced in yard with coffee doing chores! If it’s raining and your dog needs a morning run, we have a romp in the huge, lighted, covered arena (150x250!) where games like frisbee, ball throwing, pigeon chasing, obstacle course & just flat out running are the norm! We really enjoy the trails along the creek - my dog is off leash, but I will keep yours on leash for their safety and your peace of mind!
