I’ve never met a dog I didn’t like. Lifelong dog owner and dog lover. Firm believer that there are no bad dogs; simply some who need a little more care than others. Volunteer at a local Humane Society as a ‘dog socializer’, which means I make the dogs feel comfortable in their surroundings until their (hopeful) adoption. I’m currently raising two fun, full-personality, mixed-breed rescue dogs. One is small and completely in control (of course). The other is medium-sized and wants only all your attention. I was raised with large breed dogs and feel comfortable around any size. My volunteerism has taught me how important it is to get to know a dog and be aware of its cues and behaviors.
