Room to play when you're away

Pet care experience

We understand the trials and headaches involved when taking your pup to the kennel, hence why my wife and I use Rover. Our dog just does better with people. We'd love to be able to have your pup join us for a stay. We will only be boarding 1 family's pets at a time, so you won't have to worry about the lack of play, or walks, or individual attention. Your pet will be treated like another member of the family when they're under our care. Both of us have grown up with dogs, of multiple breeds and sizes, and love having them around. Currently we have an 10 year old mutt that we rescued that does great with dogs young and old, small and large. Here we're able to offer up a large acre plus lot, that also includes a fenced-in area, in a rural dog-friendly neighborhood just minutes outside Hershey. Our daily routine with our Apollo includes multiple walks a day on our standard 1.25 mile walk around the neighborhood, indoor play and jerky treats (Apollo has quite the refined palette). We'd be happy to have your pup join us.

Marty was a fantastic first Rover experience for us. He was flexible, very accommodating and even willing to pick our pup up from our wedding. He took care of our dog like his own. I would highly recommend him for anyone looking for a smooth, easy transition for your pup :)

First time using Rover and Marty was awesome. Our pup had a great time and was wore out every night when we picked her up. He sent us picture updates which we loved and made us feel more comfortable about being away from her.

I cannot recommend Marty enough! He responded quickly to my initial inquiry and was absolutely great to work with. My pup thoroughly enjoyed her stay with Marty and his family. I was given periodic updates as well as pictures throughout her stay. Having the chance to meet Marty and his wife are the exact reason why I use Rover instead of a kennel service. Knowing that my dog was going to be living in a family home for a few days and not a crate or kennel while I was attending a conference gave me such a sense of relief. I would definitely recommend Marty to anyone who is looking for a great place to send your pup. I am so grateful for the care that he and his family offered my dog and I would certainly use him again. Keep up the great work Marty!
