Experienced loving dog & cat sitter
Pet care experience
I’ve owned & loved Min Pins, spaniels, Akita, Giant Schnauzer, Border Collie, Dobermans as well as cats, horses, pigs, sheep when I owned my ranch.. I rescued Dobermans for years, retrained, & rehomed them. Now retired after 31 years, I have no pets & time to love yours. I’m financially secure so I don't rely on Rover money but enjoy the chance to provide a happy environment for your fur baby while you are gone. I am also available to stay at your home with your pet which can be a great solution for cats & some dogs. I love & enjoy both younger and senior dogs. We take several walks daily, and I treat your fur baby like my own. I also care for your 3 month and over puppy IN YOUR HOME for an extra fee. I have many years of puppy raising & knowledge to raise a happy youngster with good social skills. Cat visits: I spend a minimum of 4 hours feeding, picking up waste, playing & just hanging out. I want your cat(s) to get comfortable with me which helps ease their loneliness while you are gone. When house sitting cats I spend 90% of my time at your home-- Please contact me for a meeting!
Reviews
Marsha boarded our dog Toby for a few days while we went on vacation. Toby had a great stay with Marsha! Marsha, a long time dog owner, provided him with a loving and caring home. Marsha was very flexible with drop off and pick up times and sent us pictures and texts throughout his stay. Toby seemed quite happy and relaxed!
Another terrific stay for Colfax with Marsha. He definitely feels Marsha is a member of his pack and loves his stays. Thanks Marsha!
Always a perfect stay-cation with Marsha!

Information Marsha H. would like to know about your pet
1--Is your dog a barker? Because I live in an apt I can't keep a dog which barks frequently or if left alone. Although I am home 95% of the time, I still need to buy groceries, see family, etc. 2--Does your dog enjoy being around new people/strangers or does he prefer less interaction with people/pets he does not know. This helps me make walks stress-free for him. 3--Does your dog enjoy brisk walks or short potty breaks and less activity. 4--Is pet crate trained; often the security of his own crate helps with anxiety in a new atmosphere. I'd also like to know his little quirks to help ensure your pet is happy when you are gone. Often the little things make the difference in making his stay a comfortable one. Dogs which are hosted in my home must be housebroken and neutered. They usually sleep on my bed at night unless they prefer their crate.
A typical day
I recently moved to Missouri from Seattle & am accepting new clients. I ONLY TAKE ONE DOG AT A TIME (except when staying at your home with your family dogs) to be able to keep your absence as stress-free as possible. We spend our days hanging out together, going for walks & socializing. I will give all my attention to your dog or cat while you can't be with him. My visiting dogs become family and I love them as much as they love me. I have loved and been loved by many wonderful dogs and cats over the years. I recently moved here from Seattle & am now accepting new clients.
