Pet care experience
i have always had a dog growing up..I was the one that always took care of my animals including birds, hamsters and cats. From rottweillers to chihuahuas, I loved each one and kept them from puppies to the time they passed away. I also have a knack for training the puppies to be obedient and pottey trained. All my dogs were well behaved. i currently work from home and am very flexible on scheduling walks, playtime or petbsitting your furry baby. I can make a plan that is convenient for you. Home services are available right now at my house, however, there is some remodeling work. The doggies don’t mind at all and always have a good time. I have a large backyard for running around, throwing the ball and acting silly. I also have a chihuahua named Trixie who loves to play with other dogs.
Reviews
I don’t like leaving negative reviews because we’ve had lovely dog carers on Rover before. But as a pet owner, I would’ve appreciated seeing all reviews (past incidences during care, not just positive reviews only being published) to be able to properly evaluate potential carers. It broke our hearts to learn our dog was not being properly cared for during his stay with Marsha. He had to be taken to an emergency vet for injuries. We weren’t receiving regular updates about him during his first few days, unless I asked, which is unusual for carers on Rover. When I was finally sent a message, but it underplayed the situation (he’s been licking his paws the last two days) I knew something was not right. We rushed back early on a redeye from our trip after the emergency vet informed us what state he was in, and it took Snowy more than 2 months to recover with multiple more vet visits. He was covered in foxtails that were not removed after walks or playing in her Marsha’s yard, that after days not being removed dug under his skin into his paws & inside his ears, they had to be removed surgically. There was an unexplained bloody rash on his tail our family vet found on his follow-up checkup when we picked him up. It’s just simple daily care that pet carers need to exercise to ensure pets in their care are safe & in good health, so it was disappointing that even simple care was missing during his stay. Our poor boy took a long time to recover, and not just physically. We’ve had reliable dog carers using Rover before so this was a shocking experience, and Marsha seemed lovely when we interviewed her before booking the boarding stay. But I can’t recommend this carer, it was one of the worst and heartbreaking experiences we & our poor pup have had.
Marsha was great! She made it so easy to drop off and pick up. Our dog is very high energy and she was able to take great care of him. Highly recommend Marsha.
Came on time to walk my puppy and was consciounscous that he was apprehensive walking with a stranger so she introduced him to her dog and he played & got along
Excellent in all regards - believe the reviews as she is what you are looking for.
