Pet care experience
Hi, there! My name is Marissa and I am 27 years old and live on the Upper East Side with my girlfriend [a fellow dog lover] and my one year old pup, Ziggy! I have grown up around dogs of all sizes my entire life. From a young age, I learned how to take care of them, walk them, train them with commands, etc. I have been sitting for dogs for years. I can handle puppies to senior dogs, even dogs with special needs. A year ago, I finally got a pup of my own outside of my family’s dogs. He’s an English Bulldog named Ziggy. He is solely mine. Having full responsibility of him taught me a lot about dogs and how to go forth in training as a pup. Ziggy is my baby boy and I want nothing but the best for him. I will always treat your little baby as if they were my own too. With me, your dog is ensured to be left in care of sweet and loving hands. I do whatever it takes to make them feel loved, happy, and comfortable. In my apartment, I believe that pets are family and should absolutely be allowed on the furniture. I know that rule varies from household to household, but that's my belief. In my place, there is an ever growing collection of toys ready and available to be played with. Of course, you may bring your dog's favorites, especially if that brings them joy and a sense of security. My location is a minute or two away from Carl Schurz dog park, to which I will allow your dog to blow off some energy for a healthy 30 minutes. Just like humans, activity and exercise is important. I would know, Ziggy has high energy; thus, stimulation is key! Alas, I will never allow it to get boring. I will switch it up between playtime at the park or a nice, refreshing walk, and if they enjoy it - a run! Ziggy and I LOVE to have other dogs around. We can't wait to become best friends with your best friend!
Reviews
Marissa was a fantastic dog sitter for Rey. Her doggo Ziggy was such a good boy and played so well with my dog. So glad we met so that Rey has the best babysitter in town!
Marissa and her dog were absolutely delightful! She was extremely attentive, providing many photo updates of Faye relaxing and having fun. We are lucky to live nearby so we can contact her again for future daycare needs! She truly loves dogs and we are very happy we got to meet her and her baby!
Marissa did a wonderful job watching my dog Callie! She provided me with updates and pictures just about every day that I was away and was very attentive to Callie's needs. Callie also got along great with Marissa's dog and they had a great time together. One of Callie's food bowls also got damaged and Marissa went out of her way to order a new one online for me to replace it! I will definitely be booking again with Marissa and would recommend her to anyone looking for a great dog sitter!
Wonderful! She took great care of my pup! Definitely will recommend to others and ask her to watch my dog again!
