I have had a dog since I was 8 and trained her as a kid. My whole family has grown very attached to our yellow Labrador, Petunia, and we give her nothing but the best. My mom did research on the best brand of food for dogs, and settled on Royal Canin. We love this brand because it specializes each dog breed. Labradors tend to not chew their food, so they designed a larger kibble to teach them to chew, and Petunia learned to chew her food because of it! Before we got her, my mom got me a book on Labrador Retrievers and we all educated ourselves on how to care for one. Petunia has grown up to be quite the diva, and I don't know what I would do without her. She is the friendliest and most-loved dog to all my family and friends, and to anyone else she touches. The same love and care I have shown towards my dog, I show for the pets I care for. I listen carefully to instructions and follow them thoroughly. I know how high maintenance animals can be, but I honestly enjoy it! Petunia even has dog allergies and we have to take special care of her paws. Overall, I understand how important it is to keep our pets in their routines, and I look forward to caring for and connecting with more. As Petunia ages to become a senior dog, my family and I never stopped taking care of her. We tried to make her as comfortable as possible while she was in hospice. Now she is running on the rainbow hill, happily enjoying her sweet life. I am so glad to have known her presence and grown with such a sweet soul in my life.
