I absolutely adore animals of all kinds and have several years of experience caring for my own as well as friends' and clients' pets. I appreciate their unique personalities, love spending time with them, and truly can't think of a better job for me, although I do also love working with/caring for kids and doing private tutoring work. House sitting is great too, even if there aren't any pets at home. I generally enjoy working with all different kinds of people, animals, living situations, plants, and visiting new places. I'm big on learning, making it fun or playful as much as possible, and like to share helpful info and tips I learn about with others.

Maril is so great! She is quick to respond and has a special way with our dog Lady.
Maril did a wonderful job watching our two dogs. It was the first time we were away from them and she did a great job getting them to feel comfortable with her. She was very professional up front assessing our needs and expectations and delivered on what she said she would do. We came back to a clean and tidy house and some happy dogs. We plan to use her again
My pups are always in good shape with Maril. I always come back to calm, happy dogs when she sits for them, even with long stretches being away from home of 1-2 weeks. She also leaves my home in great condition. Highly recommend!

I do not have a fenced yard at the moment, which is why I'm not currently offering boarding services at my home. I plan to take pups for walks and to dog parks if these options are cleared ahead of time by the pet parent(s), of course. I'm happy to offer "walking buddy" time with other clients' dogs whenever possible if you and your fur baby are ok with the idea.

Please let me know anything important, unique, or specific to your pet(s) ahead of time so I can ensure they receive the best possible care and attention. I am happy to be sensitive to their needs and respectful of both their preferences and yours. If there is medication to give, or any special routine or need they have, I would be glad to make sure that's always met in a timely and correct fashion.
A typical day
I would be delighted to do a variety of activities with and generally just provide lots of love and affection to your pet(s). I'm happy to take them on walks, to dog parks (with your permission), regular parks, play frisbee or fetch, throw a ball, play with other toys, practice approved tricks and training, and just spend time together hanging out.

My schedule is usually pretty flexible. I also try to be flexible with clients' schedules and reasonable on pricing. Please feel free to let me know if you have any special circumstances or requests and I'd be happy to consider them. IMPORTANT: this platform automatically takes 20% of my earnings from every booking, so if you'd like to discuss options that are more flexible, please send me a booking request to be able to message me. Please feel free to ask questions and tell me what you and your pet(s) need. I'm happy to negotiate different terms and options if that's more appropriate and budget-friendly for you. FIRST-TIME CLIENTS, please note that I may not be able to accommodate all same-day requests. These are requests where you request a booking start with me on the same day you send me the request. I am usually able to accommodate repeat clients' same-day requests because we have already done a meet and greet appointment and I've already been familiarized with their home and pet(s). I always try my best to accommodate same-day requests for both new and repeat clients.
