I have been walking dogs for years! I have built stronger relationships with my friends as we have bonded over caring for their beloved pets. I plan to use Rover to befriend other humans and their pets that live in or visit my community. I want to build a stronger sense of home or if they’re visiting a sense of safety, for owners as they reach out for some help in caring for their beloved pets. I also plan on using the opportunity to explore my surroundings with my new furry friend! I have also taken care of pets in many types of environments, ranging from busy cities to playful beaches to outdoor recreational hubs. I have cared for dogs and cats of many different breeds, ages, and sizes. I always enjoy petsitting and regularly update their owners with pictures and stories from the day.

To whom it may concern, Mariah was a reliable and attentive dog walker. She sometimes would stay later if my bull terrier as extra energy. Norton is a high strung dog that requires or of exercise and attention. She provided both which allowed me to focus at work, and be at ease mentally knowing my buddy was being taken care of by a punctual, and caring dog lover. She would still be taking care of Norton had she not moved to Utah.i would recommend her to anyone in need of a dog walker/sitter.
Mariah is a great friend and dog walker! She took our two dogs (35 lbs, 65 lbs) on very long walks for months. They were always super excited to see her. She always used great care and was extremely reliable. No need to look any further!
Mariah is an excellent dog walker. She builds relationships with the owner(s) and the dog(s) to ensure an open line of communication and to build rapport. Building this rapport has her know what kind of care and walk that the dog(s) need. She cares about the people and dogs and takes good care. After walks she spends time with the dog(s) to build up trust and a relationship so the dogs know that they are safe and that she is someone they feel comfortable around. Mariah is also available upon a last minute notice. One time, I had an emergency and couldn't take care of my dogs and she was at my house in 5 minutes to watch them for the night. Mariah is a kind and energetic person who is a perfect dog walker.

Before sitting for a dog, I do like to know their activity level, what may trigger them during walk or play, what motivates them, and how friendly they are with other people and dogs! I do not have any breed preferences, as I do believe all dogs have personalities aside from their breed. Some dogs just need a bit more patience than others, and I have the capacity for that patience.
A typical day
I go above and beyond for the dogs I walk! I take them on different walking routes around the neighborhood so they get to explore some more. I prefer street routes with a lot of grass or dirt so that they may walk without the worry of cars or traffic. If available, I like hiking pets on fun and easy on the paws trails! I participate in teaching them new behaviors through the use of treats and toys. I have bathed them and wash them when they roll in dirt, I am not afraid to intervene when they eat something inappropriate during a walk. I do enjoy light jogging or a quick sprint with the dogs if the leash allows, as I know some dogs just want to run!

Availability
I enjoy playing hard and resting hard. Whether it be a long walk or lounging around, daily I make the time to do both. I always enjoy sharing the time with a quadrupedal friend!
