Pet care experience
Although I have no professional experience handling animals, I have dog sat and taken care of many animals in my lifetime. This has ranged from dogs, cats, reptiles, and an occasional rodent. I have 2 cats of my own and also a pet ball python. They are my whole world and I owe a lot of my happiness to them. I am very respectful of people’s time, so I am almost never late to any event, unless there’s an emergency. I am very organized and I carry my planner with me everywhere. I will always be respectful to your home and house rules. I’m just a recent UO grad who is trying to make some more money to help pay bills!

Maja was so sweet to come meet the pups on her own time and they immediately loved her. She learned their quirks easily and corrected unwanted behaviors like excited jumping well! I came home to some very happy pups! Thank you!
Maja is very communicative and responsible! She’s also so caring with our pup. We have a large (and rowdy!) boxer-pit mix, and she’s so great with him. She’s calm, and knows how to handle high energy dogs. You can tell she genuinely cares about animals and has a knack with them. 10/10 recommend!!!
Maja started dog sitting for us in spring 2022. We've used her several times as drop in and overnight care. She loves our dogs, communicates very well, and even goes above and beyond by giving our lizard some attention and food. :) We hope she never leaves Eugene because we appreciate her so much!
Maja did a great job with my two crazy labs and an old cat! She sent pictures and kept me updated every step of the way.

Information Maja S. would like to know about your pet
No breed preferences. I would like to know if the dog is food aggressive. I would also like to know if the dog is good with other dogs, in the case we walk near one and I can avoid situations like that if I need to.
A typical day
Since I have a car out here in Eugene now, I will be able to take your dogs to any parks or walking places. However, I like the idea of walking through the university campus because it looks really beautiful in the spring. I also am very interested in going to dog parks (if you allow it and if your dogs are okay with other dogs) because I have a very old family dog that doesn’t do much running or playing with other dogs. I want to have that experience of being able to be around a young and fast moving dog again. Since I only have cats right now, I miss some of the dog energy in my life.

Availability
I currently work every Monday-Friday, so I will only be free on the weekends! I get off work at 6pm on Fridays, so if you need something done after then, I am available!
