Pet care experience
I have lived with dogs all my life in the D.C. metro area. I started doing Rover when I was in college in Greensboro, NC until I graduated in 2018. I currently live with my husband in the Adams Morgan neighborhood of NW DC with our small dog, Roo. I have watched and fostered and owned dogs my whole life. I am comfortable caring for puppies, elderly dogs, dogs with special needs, and healthy dogs alike. I am capable of taking care of a broad range of maintenance levels to fit many personalities and physical needs that your dog may have. My husband and I have one dog of our own in our DC apartment. Her name is Roo and she’s a small 5 year-old cavachon. She is very kind, well-behaved and welcoming to all the pups we’ve taken in.

Mae was so awesome in taking care of our little buddy. We had a family emergency so we needed somebody last minute so we were so glad we lucked out with Mae. She seemed really caring and attentive so we knew our dog was in good hands.

Mae is lovely! She has such a warm presence. I knew as soon as I met her that I was leaving my Ollie in good hands. She sent photos and updates throughout his stay and was flexible with pick up time. Highly recommend Mae and won’t hesitate to re-book!

A typical day
I live near countless beautiful parks where I enjoy spending time with my own dog, Roo. I will take your little ones on regular walks and make sure I maintain the same schedule that you have with them at home. They will definitely miss you, but I will make sure their time spent with me will feel like a vacation you planned especially for them!
