Love furry friends and always home!

Pet care experience

My husband and I have both previously had dogs as pets and currently have a rambunctious but loveable 1.5 year-old pooch. I work at night and Travis works during the day so someone is always home to keep your pooch company! We have a 3 bedroom house in Society Hill with a yard and are within blocks of some great parks like Starr Garden and Penn's Landing! As an added bonus, we are really close with our neighbors and they are always up for an extra walk or trip to the park! We have a great spot and love all pups! About this sitter: I'm currently a bartender at Continental Midtown and recently graduated from Temple Business School. My husband and I got married in April and are expecting our first child March of 2016! We are soon to be a one-income family of three (four, including our beloved pup) and looking for a little work I can do from home. Why I love dog sitting My first dog was a yellow lab/golden mix named Buttercup, followed by a rescue black lab/Doberman mix we called Joey. On my Dad's side, we had a beagle named Lulu, and now have a rescue mostly foxhound named Buzz. I love dogs and always have! In June of 2015 we adopted a mix pup named Oz! Meet my pets Oz is a 65 lb. black Weimaraner/Boxer/Shepherd mix with a ton of energy and equal sweetness. We've worked with him diligently and he's a great dog! About my yard We have a smallish backyard with space to lay in the sun or sniff around and we are in the middle of the row so it is completely isolated from the street. My experience administering medication Yes, I have done so for my cat and dogs.

Tucker had a wonderful time with Mae and her fiance. He came home a very happy pup, and Mae was good about communicating with us while we were gone. We would definitely leave Tucker with her again.

Mae was so good with my Freya. She made her feel very comfortable while I was away and I felt confident that my little girl was in good hands. Mae is very responsible, caring and organized and I highly recommend her! Will definitely be contacting her again the next time I am out of town.

Information Mae L. would like to know about your pet

Before sitting for someone's pet, I need to know about medications, dietary restrictions, how they are with cats, children, other dogs and certain people. Also, it's helpful to know what their quirks are like chewing, allergies, and anything that we might not know that can make their stay more comfortable!

A typical day

Here's where we'll take our walks We are steps from Penn's Landing, Starr Garden, and Headhouse Square which is where we'd be walking. Your dog's sleeping arrangement Our downstairs bedroom is in the finished basement and has a bed just for your pup - the room is carpeted and stays cool and dark in the summer, perfect for a furry friend. Time I'll spend with your dog Travis and I are home bodies so someone will be home 24/7 with your pooch.
