Pet care experience
I have lived with and loved dogs and cats throughout my entire life—I have been petsitting since I was a young child. In college, I opened up my own animal rescue (Three Paws Animal Rescue) and saved over 1,200 high-risk animals from kill shelters in three years. I have fostered over 650 cats and dogs and loved each one like my own. I also worked for a petsitting company in college, Fetch the Leash, for four years and loved every minute of it. I was the General Manager of a dog cage-free daycare and boarding facility, Bark ATL, for a year and a half, and absolutely adored it. I am very experienced with fearful and/or special needs animals and am very comfortable administering insulin, subcutaneous fluid, and medication. I am experienced in bottle feeding kittens and puppies. I absolutely love dogs and cats. I’m home 24/7 and can’t wait to love your animal like my own! I spend hours outside every day with the pup(s) and ensure that they receive lots of playtime daily. A tired pup is a happy pup! Your dog will never be cooped up in a crate and will constantly have the attention they deserve! I have three cats and a dog of my own that are very friendly. I’m extremely experienced in animal introductions and behavior. We have a 2500 sq ft home with a big fenced in yard and would be more than happy to send photos of our home. My days are always brighter because of my own dog and the amazing dogs and cats I petsit. Dogs and cats make my heart so happy! I work from home for a nonprofit currently and have all the time and love to give. I love taking photos of pups and will be sure to share daily updates with pictures/videos of your doggo(s)! I also love cats just as much! I have three wonderful animal friendly kitties that would love to have some friends. I have experience with reptiles, chickens, and pigs as well. I do not have any breed restrictions. I love dogs of all breeds, shapes, and sizes! I am insured and bonded through Pet Sitters Associates. I am CPR, First Aid, and Fear Free Certified and a Graduate of all of the following Fear Free Programs: Boarding and Daycare Individual Certification Program, Petsitter Certification Program, Animal Trainer Certification Program, and Fear Free Shelter Program.
Reviews
Madison had a great connection with my cat Bunny, so much so that I believe Bunny was waiting for her the first few days we returned from our trip! My other cat, Baby is terribly shy and so her connection with Madison was as expected. Overall I felt comfortable and confident that my two girls were safe and cared for while I was away.
Madison is outstanding - responsive, reliable, trustworthy, and of course amazing w/ our big teddy bear of a dog😉
Madison was awesome! Not only did our girls love her, she gave us peace of mind knowing she was taking care of them. Loved receiving pictures and updates about how they were doing while we were away.
Madison was wonderful!! Gurley Mae at 7 years old had never been to doggie daycare or stayed with anyone other than family. I was very anxious for her first visit. But Madison blended Gurley in with the other pups and she had a wonderful time!! Look forward to many more adventures with Madison. Her yard and home were welcoming and put my fears to rest. ❤️
