Your fur babies are in great hands!
Pet care experience
Hi there, I’m lysa. Working in a boarding place for 2 years has gave me more knowledge about what to do and not to do for the fur babies when their parents aren’t around. I’ve not only worked in a boarding place, but I’ve went to school for three Certifications for animals. One is vet assisting, meaning I can give your fur baby any needed pill and syringe they need while you’re away. I always do my best to give your baby the best love and attention they need. Your baby is my baby. They deserve treatment from someone who has experience with dogs and cats who been in an environment with their owner going on vacation or works through the week . Thank you.
Reviews
Wonderful! Highly recommend!
Lysa took great care of Moe!
She was great! Sent daily pictures, no issues. Kept in touch and responded whenever I had questions.
After a lot of contemplation, it has taken me a while to leave this review. I left one in the past that praised lysa and her care of my dog! I have left my dog with her countless times, have recommended friends to her, and have been grateful for each time he’s been able to stay. But that has not been without concern. My dog has come home several times with wounds, and once with fleas we had to treat. I understand that things happen but my dog is like my child. When I would ask Lysa if she could explain why my dog was ACTIVELY bleeding, it was explained away with the crate was broken, the fence was broken, or he dug too hard at the ground MAYBE. Which leads me to question the lack of attentiveness. I understand that they won’t have eyes on them 24/7 but wounded dogs with blood coming from their back, legs, and paws need an explanation. Broken wire crates should not be replaced as an obvious safety hazard, and dogs being able to escape shouldn’t be a concern ANY owner has to have. The safety and well being of my dog shouldn’t be a worry. Most of my drop offs were last minute & Lysa definitely offers convenience of schedule but we have since had to find new care as I could not continue to put my dog at risk. She even stated he even pooped in the crate once after crying to be let out. I have recently had to reach out to rover to remove some photos of my dog in a wire crate with no flooring and it being incredibly small for him which raised concerns from me, and from other sitters who also thought those were the conditions were unacceptable (thankfully these sitters helped me remove them !) so while I see a ton of reviews that rave about Lysa- I understand. She has the space, she has the time, the availability, and she has the heart for animals. Those things are all evident. And for a while I felt obligated to speak only of the good as well. But there is also a downside and this was my experience after leaving my dog with her about 10 times before needing to seek new care. It’s easy to ignore the bad, when you’re grateful for someone taking care of your pet when needed which is what I ended up doing. I knew we should have switched care long before I did, and i let my dog down in that way. I hope this honest review helps someone weigh the pros and the cons and make the BEST choice for their dog.
