In college I worked for a Professional Pet Sitting company in Fort Collins, Colorado (Poochy Doos). During this time I went through various trainings including working with reactive dogs and basic training with the local dog shelter. Once I moved to Alaska I continued to pet sit for friends and family. I took a break when I got a dog of my own, but now that we are more settled we would love to meet new friends! During the week I work from home and have a flexible schedule for frequent potty breaks and short walks. I live an active lifestyle and am happy to take your pup(s) along for a run or hike if they need more rigorous activity. I have a fully fenced yard with lots of room to run around. The fence is only about 4' high so if your dog is an escape artist this may not be the place for them. I do not leave dogs unattended in the yard. Since I work from home they will get plenty of outdoor time. I do allow dogs on the bed and furniture. My dog goes into a pen when I leave the house to help his separation anxiety, which means the pups will be kept separate when I am out of the house.
