My aunt did a great job at looking after my grandma's dog when she had back surgery for about 5 months. Her name was Bella and she was taken care of very well.

About three years ago I adopted a severely abused Pit bull. I had to go out of town for a family emergency. As my luck would have it, Chance came down with parvo the day before I had to leave. It was a holiday weekend and no vet offices were open. Thanks to Lonnas help we were able to find one to at least give us advice over the phone. Lonna assured me that she would give chance the fluids she needed just as the vet had said while I was away. Thankfully I was only away over night. When I came back. Lonna helped me care for Chance . We were taking turns making sure got the fluids she needed, cleaning up after her. Making sure she was as comfortable as she could be. Today Chance is 3 years old and healthy and happy as ever. I don't know what I would have done if Lonna wouldn't have been there to care for her when I had to go care for my family. There were other people in the house but none of them stepped up to save Chances life like Lonna did. She is a great person and loves animals. She is the reason I still have my baby.
