Your Pup's BFF & Peace of Mind!
Pet care experience
As a shelter and rescue volunteer since 2020, I'm experienced in caring for dogs and cats of all breeds, sizes, physical needs, and temperaments. I also foster dogs with local organizations. Outside of volunteer shifts with Woods and SLO County Animal Services, I attend group walks and classes with my own rescue mutt, Panko. I bring a balanced training approach to my lifestyle and enjoy fulfilling pets with enrichment as well as mental and physical exercise.
Reviews
It is my pleasure to recommend Lindsay Logan as a dogsitter for Rover! I have known Lindsay for 10 years as a colleague and friend. In the time I have known Lindsay she has graduated college at the top of her class, planned and executed a cross country move to pursue her dreams. I have watched her succeed in everything she has set out to do, most recently in her move to San Diego. Lindsay is caring and sweet, generous with her time. Lindsay is a thoughtful planner making sure there is time for work and fun! Over the years Lindsay has supported me in becoming a dog mom and always makes time to care for my pup during her visits. Anyone would be lucky to have Lindsay pet sit! Lindsay is an extremely responsible person and clear and concise communicator. I wish I could hire her!

Doggie Daycare: I have a fenced yard but keep dogs under my supervision at all times. I also have a detached studio that I use as my office and can keep dogs separated if need be. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Housesitting: I do have my own dog so please let me know if you're uncomfortable with him staying in your home with me so I can make other arrangements. He sleeps in a crate, is dog and cat friendly, and well trained :)
Information Lindsay L. would like to know about your pet
- What is your pet's personality like? Are they shy or nervous around strangers? Do they like to snuggle? Are they bold and adventurous? - What are their daily routine and exercise needs? - How often are they fed? How often can they receive treats? - How often would you like for them to go outside, for walks, or adventures? - Do they display any leash reactivity? - Are they crate trained? - How are they in the car? - Are they on any kind of medication or need any special care? - How are they around other animals? Are they able to enjoy the dog park/beach? - Any other little quirks or habits that I should know about (i.e. afraid of thunderstorms, likes to chew shoes, barks at the school bus every morning as it goes by)? - Are you comfortable with me walking my dog with them? - Are you comfortable with my dog staying at your house as well? - How often would you like to receive pictures or updates about your pet while you are gone? - Is there anything else that I can help you out with during my stay (get mail, water plants, take out garbage/recycling, etc…)?
A typical day
This depends on the dog's individual needs. I meet dogs where they are in terms of schedule and exercise, but generally I have time for at least two 45min+ walks a day and training sessions. We enjoy hikes, the dog beach, and other adventures as well!

Availability
I work from home so my schedule is very flexible. I go for at least two 45min+ walks a day. I live a balanced training lifestyle with my dog, so we incorporate training sessions during our day that include leash, crate, place, recall, and obedience work. Dogs get a chance to rest when I take meetings on weekdays between 9am-12pm.
