We are a family of five; four humans and a dog. We live in the Westgate area of north Tacoma, with a large fenced in backyard with lots of room to play. Our neighborhood is very walk-friendly and we love taking the dog(s) on an evening stroll when the weather permits. Mom stays home during the day, so someone is almost always here, aside from church on Sunday mornings. Our two kids are 4 and 8, and love dogs just as much as we do. Our 115 lb golden lab Huck is friendly and exuberant, and sort of a bull in a china shop. We have been trusted by friends, coworkers and family for their dog boarding needs and would love to treat your pup as one of our own.

This was the first time leaving our Bella with a Rover boarding. Lillie was very easy to communicate with and I was grateful that she was so flexible. Bella was well taken care of and I plan to use Lillie and Yontz for future trips away.
Lillie is a treasure, and I can't recommend her highly enough! She was in regular communication with me, trouble-shooted when needed, and brought my pup completely into her family. Huck (her dog) is just a gem, and her kids are so dog-hearted... I was worried that my doggo wouldn't want to return. Thanks, Lillie & the fam, for such a great stay.

I have a secure fenced yard but will always supervise when the dogs are outside, just in case. We watch dogs one household at a time and I will never invite new dogs into my home while your pet is here unless I have your permission.

Because of our small children, your dog must be gentle and non agressive in all ways, food included. As much as we will try to make every situation as safe as possible, our youngest is known to sit close and watch dogs eat, or walk up and give them a hug, so we require friendly, tolerant dogs only. We would also like your dog to meet our dog in advance to make sure they get along.
A typical day
Your dog can expect to play chase with ours until they are both worn out and happily smile-panting in the shade. We also love to play frisbee, throw balls, or just snuggle and give ear and belly scratches.

Availability
I am a stay at home mom so my schedule is open for lots of play time with your pet. There are times when we are gone, like running errands or going to church, but when there is someone else’s dog in our home, that dog’s needs are our top priority.
