Providing loving, thoughtful care!
Pet care experience
Dogs have been a part of my family my entire life. Over a decade ago when I moved into my very first apartment, the first thing I sought out was my very own dog, a mini dachshund named Penny, who traveled with me from Hawaii to Washington to Sicily and finally to North Carolina. Since then we have added two more dogs to our family and they're honestly like my children. I fully understand the stress of having to leave your pets while on vacation so I'd like to help alleviate those concerns. Your dogs will be well loved while in my care! I'm home more often than not so your pup will have plenty of attention, and my two dogs love to play with our visitors! I start the day by letting my dogs out to potty in our large, fully fenced yard before typically taking them on morning walks and feeding them breakfast. Throughout the day I'll let them out to play and always ensure that they are safe. I have about a half acre fully fenced with 6 ft privacy fencing. There's plenty of sunny and shady spots. If it's hot out we can play with a sprinkler! I let my dogs sleep in my room at night. If you prefer I crate can yours. We allow our dogs on the bed and furniture. As for dog walks or drop in visits, I will be most attentive to your pet's needs!
Reviews
She’s the best!
Lilli is the best! She’s great with our dogs and they absolutely love her!
Lilli is great! We used to have her watch Laila when out of town, but we recently started having her walk Laila daily. She is very responsive, responsible, and so great with Laila. It’s such a weight off of our shoulders knowing Laila is getting a quality walk in mid day.
There’s no one better than Lilli to watch our dogs. They go running inside bc they have so much fun with her.

Your pets will eat breakfast and dinner alongside my dogs. If your pup is a grazer, they won't be able to do that here without the chance of their food getting eaten by one of my dogs. I have a half acre, fully fenced property with lots of trees. There is lots of space for sprinting and playing fetch! Schedule permitting, I will happily take your dog on a walk as well. At night, if your pup isn't the anxious type, he or she can sleep in the bedroom with the rest of us. Otherwise, I will set up a cozy space in the TV room for them to sleep. Though I only accept one client at a time for new dogs, I do take on multiple clients when I am very familiar and trusting of the dogs. Because I already have two dogs of my own, I can only accept two additional dogs at a time (with certain considerations, such as weight, temperament, etc). I must complete a meet and greet with any new client. For drop-ins or dog walks, these must take place in your home. For daycare or boarding, these must take place in my home.

Information Lilli C. would like to know about your pet
It would be helpful to have the following information ahead of time: - Please confirm that your dog is spayed/neutered. - Is your pet vaccinated? Flea/tic treated? - Is your dog house trained? - Can your dog be left alone for short periods? Do they need to be crated at night or whenever people are gone from the house? Do they exhibit destructive tendencies? - How do they do on walks?
A typical day
Any dogs that stay with me get plenty of stimulation playing with my own two dogs. While my older boy, Hercules, prefers shorter bouts of play, my younger dog, Taco, has endless energy. There's plenty of time for fetch in the backyard too.

Availability
Rover is my main focus, and I will be able to spend the majority of the day with your dog. On a weekly basis I may need to step out of the house to take care of other drop-in services or dog walks. As such, it's important that your pup can be left in my home for, at most, two hours or so while I'm taking care of my Rover duties. If they are destructive or anxious, I can kennel them or set them up in a room with a baby gate to block the doorway, giving them their own space. Please let me know how your dog feels about being left alone. Otherwise, we'll have plenty of time to play in the yard with my own two dogs, Hercules and Taco. They are very used to having all sorts of dog friends come over to play. Please note, for drop in services, I adjust AM/PM visits according to the daylight hours, since I do not drive late at night. Similarly, I do not complete drop-in visits beyond 7 pm (unless it's summer time and it is still bright out). I have no problem completing early morning drop-ins as well.
