I'm a lifelong pet owner with years of experience caring for dogs, cats, and other pets. As a kid, I ran my own small dog walking and pet care business, where I gained even more knowledge and understanding of working with other people's beloved pets. I'm often the animal-advice friend that people come to with care questions or when they need help with things like trimming nails or learning leash etiquette. I have experience with all ages of dogs and cats, as well as animals who have health issues, and am typically comfortable providing care as needed for your furry family members. I'm also open to caring for other types of pets, and have personally owned hamsters, birds, fish, and more. If you have other pets along with your dog or cat, just ask!

Lexie did a great job taking care of our pets! Our cat quickly warmed up to her and she kept us updated during our trip about how they were doing. Overall she was great and we're definitely planning to have her come back again!
Lexie was so amazing with my two dogs. This was our first experience on rover and we absolutely adored Lexie! They were excellent at sending updates and photos while on our trip. I would recommend them to anyone!
I booked Lexie to feed, walk, and give meds to my dog, and keep him and my cats company for several hours while I was out on a day trip. Communication with Lexie is always great both before and during the visit. They follow all instructions, and my pets seem very relaxed in Lexie's company. Would be happy to have them sit again.
Lexie took such good care of our pups while we were away for the weekend. Our one dog is not feeling well and they mixed his food to make sure he was eating enough. They were responsive and gave us updates often. They were kind and truly cared for our dogs like they’re own. I really appreciate Lexie and we will definitely call on her again.

During meet and greet, I'll ask you about your pet and take notes on anything you want me to know. If you have questions, please ask! I'm knowledgeable on pet safety and great in a crisis. Along with other past experiences, I have an accident-prone senior cat with heart disease, IBD, arthritis, and daily medications, so you can trust that I've seen and done quite a lot without flinching.

❤Typical Day:❤ I really enjoy being with animals and learning how they like to best spend their time. If your animal loves to play, we'll play! If they're more laidback, I'm totally fine with just hanging out with them. Their comfort, and your preferences, matter to me.

✨Schedule:✨ I work from home, but am able to take my work on the road without much preparation. As long as I have desk space and an outlet, I'm good to go almost anytime! This frees me up to house sit your dog or cat in your home where they are most comfortable, without you needing to take them anywhere new and stressful. As the owner of a cat with awful car anxiety and nausea, I understand just how important this can be.
