Barx boarding and walking for pets
Pet care experience
I have had animals and loved them all my life. My passion for animals passed along to my kids and rubbed on my husband. For 7 years now we have been boarding and walking furry friends, my neighbors call me the dog whisperer, but I would just say that I love dogs and they can feel that. If your pup absolutely loves kids, hugs, being petted and other pooches, we would love to welcome it to our home. Thank you so much and I am looking forward to hearing from you!
Reviews
Leticia is amazing! She has a ton of experience and loves the dogs in her care. Give her a try if you’re near Framingham - you and your four-legged friends will be happy you did!
Leticia knows her dog stuff! She earns five stars each time she sits for my dogs. She’s responsive if I have questions. She great about sending photos. She helps with obedience tips and tricks. If you’re looking for a new dog sitter (whose entire family loves dogs) look no further. She is an expert!
Our very active, young dog LOVED his time with Letitia's family. He became great friends with her dog and we would love to have him stay with them again!
I was very happy with having my dog stay with Leticia. Barkley felt right at home and was well taken care of. Thank you

Information Leticia A. would like to know about your pet
1. Your dog must love children, we have two kids in our home and as much as we love to have furry friends over, our kids safety is priority. They would never hurt your dog, quite the opposite, our children love to feed, care, snuggle, pet and love dogs. 2. Your dog must like other dogs, we have a dog that gets along with all dogs, and it is likely that at the time of your booking there will be other dogs here, so again for safety reasons, unfortunately we do not accept dogs with behavior issues, or even dogs that sometimes does not like other dogs. 3. personality details. What does he/she likes best? is he/she afraid of anything? Preferred activities? Where do they usually sleep? How many breaks does he/she gets? tricks for feeding, every dog have different eating habits so it helps to know if they have a specific eating routine. 4.. We will need a copy of veterinary information, emergency contact, vaccination records and be on tick and flea prevention. Kennel cough vaccine is required. If dogs needs o be brought to the vet, it is your responsibility to pay the bill. 5. Dogs must be housebroken, since this is a home environment, we cannot accept dogs that "mark". 6. We unfortunately cannot accept Pitbull, German Shepherds, Dobermans, Rottweilers, Cane Corso, akita or bull mastiffs. 7. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT - Boarding days are booked for a 24 hour timeframe. For example, if drop off on Arrival Day is at 8 AM, pick up on Departure Day would be no later than 8 AM. If your travel plans require you to pick up your pet later on Departure Day, we make every effort to accommodate your needs. However please note that a $35 day care fee will be added to all stays over 24 hours. 8. For efficiency and proper scheduling, drop offs on arrival day and pick ups on departure day are by APPOINTMENT ONLY and need to be established at the time of booking. Usually early morning or early evening, so it does not interrupt our daily plans. If there is any delay please inform me by text or call. I do my best to accommodate my time with yours but if there is a big difference change in time it could interfere with other drop offs/pick ups or prior plans, for example, if you schedule to drop off at 7:30 am during a week day and show up at 8:10, that is the time I have to bring the kids to school. So please be respectful of timing. 9. To ensure the safety and proper introduction of dogs, all drop offs and pick ups will be conducted outside. Simply text our Rover number or call when you arrive for drop off and we will be right outside to meet you! Please do not ring the bell. 10. Please label your dogs food and food bowls, bring enough food for the stay. Toys are allowed but are not guaranteed to be safe and returning home, some dogs get passionate with toys or get lost under a furniture, and it is hard to keep track of who brought which toy. 11. No dog beds, crates are fine. We can safely sanitize a crate not a bed.
A typical day
We do 3 long walks a day and 1 or 2 more breaks in between. We have a dog friendly community so we are always socializing with other pooches.
