I have a small, open fenced in yard. I do not leave dogs alone together. They must be crated or gated if I am not at home. I am extremely careful whether it's your home or mine when coming and going to ensure no escapes. Meet and greets: I do require these for new pets. They are free of charge and last approximately 15 minutes. When I receive requests, I normally proceed quickly to scheduling this step (as opposed to texting, email or phone calls BEFORE the meet and greet) since I need to meet you and your pet and this is the best time to discuss any and everything. Otherwise, we end up repeating everything we talked/texted/emailed about at the actual meet and greet. ***For families with children only***** Due to recent events, my preference is that you leave your children at home. If that is not possible, please prepare them for the situation. Meaning, this is my home and my business. It comes with risk and responsibility to myself, my family, my dog, the pets in my care as well as to my home, all of which I work very hard for. The point of the meet and greet is to assess the fit of me and my home for your dog, while at the same time trying to think ahead and forecast any scenarios we may need to discuss. I need to be able to focus on you, your pet, my dog and any other pets staying here. I would love to be able to talk about that is growing in my garden with your kids, but that is a distraction from my need to be present with the reason for our meeting. I need adult focus and I need information about your pet's care from the adult pet owner in charge. I understand, as a parent myself, that kids are very curious and they have minds of their own, but for everyone's safety, I cannot field their curiosity or desires to be the center of attention during this time. I will initially rely on YOU to educate and prepare them of this if they are to attend. Many have successfully brought their children to meet and greets and they have enjoyed being PART of the process, so it generally is not an issue. However, if these parameters seem like they could be an issue, please arrange to have them stay behind. If they become a distraction for any reason, I will need to end the meet and greet immediately. I appreciate your understanding in advance.

Information Leslie G. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know your pet's routines, medications (if any), where the sleep at night as well as what your pet is used to when you are not at home (free reign, crate, baby gate?). AT drop off, I do prefer details to be written down. Please provide and emergency contact - this would be someone you would want me to contact if I cannot reach you. (For example, your phone, with the Rover app, falls into the toilet and you cannot tell me that your flight was just cancelled and I am wondering why you didn't pick up Fido at the time we agreed on. Who could I contact?)
A typical day
I love all animals and I find that they really just want to be where I am. SO , I try to include them in all aspects of my day while also accommodating the needs of more introverted or less social pets
Services
Leslie can host
Leslie can watch in your home
Availability
I am self employed with generally lots of flexibility in my schedule to care for pets staying here or for walks and home visits. For boarding/daycare, I generally begin accepting drop offs at 8 AM and last pick up is generally at 9PM.
