Pet care experience
Hi there! My name is Leann and I have 15+years' experience caring for dogs, cats, and many other types of pets. I've been a Rover pet-sitter now for about 2 years and I absolutely love what I do! Prior to becoming a pet-sitter on Rover, I was working in the medical field for over 10 years and pursuing nursing. Currently, I attend school at Incarnate Word (UIW). Typically, my courses are online, which is great because this allows me to have more flexibility in my schedule so that I can be more available for my clients and their furry children! I put my whole heart into the care that I provide for my clients' pets while they are away. I strive to never disappoint my clients and to exceed expectations! You will feel at ease while you're away because your pet will be in trusted hands, safe, and they will get the attention and love that they deserve! :)
Reviews
Leann has been great with our two Labs. I really appreciate the initial meet & greet and all the updates with photos while she was taking care of them.
LeAnn was amazing. She did such a great job taking care of our baby. We didn't worry once while we were gone. Came home to a happy healthy kitty. Thank you LeAnn for all you did for us.
Leann is great! Our Frenchie loves her and looks forward to her visits!
Leann went above and beyond my expectations of a dog sitter. It was an absolute relief to know my pups and kitties were so well taken care of! She's professional and it is obvious that she loves animals! She sent us pictures and even tidied up before our return. I would recommend her 100%!

***Meet & Greet will be required prior to accepting a booking request*** I want you to feel comfortable with your choice in choosing me to care for your fur-babies while you’re away, and to make sure that we are a good fit for one another. I encourage potential clients to meet other pet-sitters as well, and no offense will be taken at all if you find a sitter that is a better fit for your needs. 😊
Information Leann B. would like to know about your pet
Before becoming your pet-sitter, we generally would arrange a “Meet & Greet” so that both you and your pets feel comfortable with me taking care of them, and I’ll have a better idea of what kind of care your pet/s will require from me. I would like to know the basics: age, breed, energy level, temperament w/ people, children, or other animals, what medication requirements & the medication schedule, if they are house/potty trained, length of time they can be left if I have to leave for some time, are they kenneled or loose in home, are they allowed on furniture, how are car rides, their daily routine including specific meal instructions, vet preference in case of emergency, if your pet is on hospice care or just older, what specific conditions they have, are they on flea/ heart worm prevention regularly, where do they sleep, do they have any allergies, do they have anxiety or scare easily, and anything else that you think is important for me to know.
A typical day
Dependent on your pets needs and the owners requests. I’m open and willing to most suggestions. Dog walks fine are okay by me but dependent on time of day and weather (if it is too hot outside, like summer mid afternoon and pavement is too hot or it is raining, then a quick walk out to potty and back typically.) I don’t mind running, playing with toys, car rides (if okay with owner of course), or going to a nearby park. I’m open suggestions

Typically I house-sit for clients that want their pets to be cared for in their own homes, where the pets are usually the most comfortable at. I will always respect the privacy of my clients while In their homes, follow instructions as given, communicate with you while you’re away about how your pets are doing, as well as reach out to you when I first arrive and when I depart.
