My name's Leah and I have always had an interest in caring for animals. I've owned big and small dogs and I have even owned small animals like fancy rats. My hobbies are visiting zoos and aquariums and collecting knowledge about different species of animals. I wanted to be a veterinarian when I was younger, however, I ended up as a law student. For this reason, I am eager to expose myself to animals once again. I have personal experience with dog walking, training, and overall nurturing. I'm looking to gain professional experience outside the bounds of my friends and family and help you and your family. Working with me will be as though your pet has someone else they can trust when you are away. Your pet is my priority. Let me help.

I booked Leah to watch my dog over a long weekend and she did amazing! This is my first time booking on Rover – – Leah has very a kind and friendly demeanor that is very comforting towards dogs, especially more anxious and apprehensive pups. Leah offered to do a meet and greet-She came on our afternoon walk with us during the meet and greet to see our daily walking path and to learn about my pup. During the scheduled drop-ins Leah was on time and provided multiple pictures. We were provided very detailed report on how the drop-ins went and Leah even adjusted length of walks and in door play time etc, based on situations (I.e. weather, anxious) situations.) Leah reviewed and followed all provided guidance and was very accommodating to any changes in schedule requests, and was just overall a great sitter for my pup. We will be using her again in the future - Highly recommend!

It is important that I know if you pet is on a routine that I need to strictly adhere to along with any sort of medications that might be needed during the visit. Additionally, I need to know if your dog is reactive around other animals/strangers to help navigate walks.
A typical day
I am an active individual and I enjoy park walks and car rides (for those that enjoy it). In addition, my complex has a bark park if you and your family are uncomfortable with the idea of exposing your pet to public places while you are away. Your pet, your rules, my priority.
