Experienced, Caring Animal-Lover
Pet care experience
I'am an active 24 year old female. I have been passionate about animals since a young age, and was raised with a menagerie of animals in my house. I do dog-sitting full-time, so this enables me to properly care for, and devote all my time to your family member. I love taking photos of my visitors, and am more than happy to send you daily fun updates and photos to assure you that your loved one is having a good stay. I have experience with 'troubled' pets (i.e anxiety issues, abuse cases) and do not shy away from the challenge of earning an animals trust. I love being outdoors with pets, and enjoy taking my own dog on hikes/to the dogpark, and would be very willing to do so with your own family member! I can train your animal the basics (sit, paw, stay, gentle) if you should so desire - though this skill comes soley from having trained my own dogs. I enjoy grooming pets, as I feel it reenforces trust and companionship between you and an animal. I care deeply for the happiness and well-being, both mentally and physically of all animals, I view pets as family members first and animals second. In our home, your dog would be treated like one of my own, and would receive at least an hour of outdoor exercise per stay and would be played and cuddled with while hanging out indoors. Your pet having the best experience possible while under my care is very important to me. I greatly look forward to welcoming your pets into my home!
Reviews
Another stay that far exceeded our expectations! It allowed us to have a very worry free vacation.
Lauren is a great pet sitter! She took wonderful care of our dog. We didn't think our dog was going to want to come home after spending a week with Lauren. We loved the daily updates and photos that she sent to us. I would highly recommend Lauren to friends and family!
Lauren did a wonderful job caring for our 3 dogs. She went above and beyond to make sure that they were cared for, exercised, and groomed. She communicated with us daily while we were away and provided us with adorable pictures. When we returned home the dogs were calm and content. We highly recommend Lauren as a pet sitter and look forward to working with her in the future. The care she provided our pets made our vacation that more relaxing and enjoyable.
Lauren did a fantastic job. She settled right in with our two dogs. One senior and one much more active and goofy. When we got home I could tell that they already were missing her.

Information Lauren R. would like to know about your pet
You'll be sent a short, personalized questionnaire just to give me a quick idea of your pets needs and personality :) A LITTLE BIT ABOUT MY DOG: My pup, Iggy is an Olde English Bulldogge of 9 months old. He is true to his puppy bulldoggy ways in that he is bumbly, boisterous, and LOVES to play. He is extremely friendly with dogs, and making new friends makes his rump wiggle like you wouldn't believe. Ideally, your dog would be receptive to an inquisitive, playful puppy, but I also respect that every animal has its limits (from 1 hour to 1 minute!) with babies of its kind and we don't allow a visitor dog to become exhausted or stressed by our frisky bulldozer. Smaller dogs are also closely monitored so as not to become overwhelmed by his bulk! A LITTLE BIT ABOUT MY CAT: My cat is extremely dog-friendly - (constantly head-butting with love, and rubbing up against) and for this reason we do not accept non-cat friendly dogs into our home - It just doesn't seem fair to keep him isolated in his room, when he has so much love to give to anyone and anything (he even shows affection to inanimate objects - to the point he knocks a lot of things onto the floor!).

If you choose to book a stay with me, I'll send you a short personalized questionnaire (tweaked each time to suit the age, size and breed of your pet) asking you about your pets General Care (feeding, desired exercise, grooming, any medication) and also about an behaviorism's - e.g fear of thunder, squirrel chasing, chewing toilet roll, anxiety issues. I do this with you once, and then using all the information you have given, combined with my experience working with them, I write up a detailed 'Pet Profile' for when/if you choose to book with me again, which you are more than welcome to receive from me for future sitters references. I handle my own pets and friends' pets with the philosophy that they are family members, but still maintaining the discipline and needs that an animal requires. I'am very happy to take your pooch out for long walks/to the local dog park, train if wanted, play with and groom. For older dogs, I'm happy to take it easy and lounge/groom. I believe a pet is a privilege, not a right, and that an animal deserves all the love and attention that it requires for its overall mental happiness.
