Pet care experience
I have had pet dogs all my life and have always been the one most bonded to the dogs in my family growing up. I am familiar with obedience basics such as not giving a dog attention until they sit nicely and stop jumping, and not giving into begging. Other than that I’m not super strict on doggy behavior. I have fostered rescues in the past and love dogs of all shapes and sizes.

Lauren was wonderful! My dog enjoyed staying with her so much, when it was time to leave he didn’t want to go. That speaks volumes to me and will definitely be having her as a regular care taker for my dog.

I live alone with my 15 lb cavachon who is chill and prefers other chill dogs to coexist with. Dogs have free range in my apartment so couches, beds, or anywhere else they want to get cozy is fair game! I have plenty of room for a crate if your dog prefers that as well.

How compatible is your dog with other dogs, people, and patios? I have several friends with dogs to play with since mine prefers the sidelines :) I’d also like to know if and how long they can be left alone in case I ever have evening plans during your dog’s stay.
A typical day
I love taking long walks on the 606 or around Logan Square. My dog Tillie and I also hang out at parks and dog-friendly patios, as well as go on dog park dates with our other dog friends.

I work from home 4 days a week, and I have my own dog who gets 2 potty breaks plus one longer walk each day, so your dog will fit right into our routine. If I go into my office for the day they can keep each other company.
