Hello! My husband and I are huge dog lovers and we are always looking for a furry friend to spend some evenings with us at our home. We do live in an apartment, but the area we live in caters to dog families- it is full of parks, walking paths, and doggie areas. Almost everyone living in our community has a dog- big or small! We are very responsible and some may say that I am a little over-the-top cautious, but I love safety :) When we have doggie visitors, we love to play ball and frisbee, give delicious treats and then all relax together :) I treat all dogs as they are part of the family! I understand how important a dog is to his or her owners so I make sure to show lots of love and affection to each dog that comes to visit!

I brought my dog chance to Laura because I haven't had a weekend to myself in awhile. I took my girlfriend to the city for dinner and a stay at a hotel. My dog hasn't been away from me so I was worried. As soon as I dropped her off I knew she would be fine. Laura and her husband were great. They kept me updated and sent me pictures. They let chance sleep on the couch which was a plus for her. They made her feel very welcome. Anyone that wants their dog loved and cared for while they are away should use Laura. I will be using her again. Never worried at all after I dropped her off.
Laura loves dogs so much. She takes great care of them, and their safety is a priority to her. She treats all dogs like family and shows them a great deal of love and attention. She has rescued lost animals she has seen outside and never hesitates to help an animal in need. She participates in charity events to raise money for homeless animals, as well.

I would like to know about a dog's preferences and personality before I sit him or her. If a dog loves to play fetch, we will. If he or she is a cuddler, we can do that too! I am open to all breeds but I have more experience with the small fluffy breeds- my family dogs are maltipoos!
A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks I live only a few minutes from Busse Woods so if your dog loves long walks, I am happy to take him or her to Busse for some wonderful walks! Otherwise, we have a lovely walking path throughout my neighborhood that is made for dogs! Your dog's sleeping arrangement Where your dog sleeps will be based on what your dog is used to. If you have a smaller, cuddly dog, your dog is welcome to sleep up on the bed with us. If they are used to sleeping in their own bed, we will put the bed right next to ours. Whatever your dogs bedtime routine is, we make sure we stick to it! Time I'll spend with your dog When I have a dog in my home, I love to spend all day with him or her and I don't like to leave animals alone, especially if they are visiting and are enjoying the new company! I will be there all day to play with and care for your dog!

Why I love dog sitting I have loved dogs for as long as I can remember! As a kid, my family never had any pets and I longed for a dog. After many years of asking, my family finally adopted an adorable maltipoo named Mia. A year later we adopted her half-sister Sophie. They are the loves of my life! I have since gotten married and moved out of my parents home, but I visit the dogs at least every other day because I miss them so terribly! I have become such a huge dog lover, I participate in charity events hosted through PAWS (Pets are Worth Saving).
