Pet care experience
My name is Laura. I’ve always wanted a dog and I was finally able to get one during the pandemic last year. Copper has changed my life and made me realize that I want to be able to help people when they need someone to take care of their pets. He has immensely helped my mental health and has made me much more active.

Laura is a responsible and hard working animal lover! She would definitely treat all animals with kindness and respect. She also dog sat my Yorkshire Terrier for a week and did a great job!

My front yard is not fenced it is big so I recommend bringing a longer leash as they will have a lot of space to run around in my front yard. the backyard is well fenced however it’s not too too big it’s enough for potty and just a quick little playtime but it’s not huge.

It’s important for me to know if your dog has any allergy restrictions or issues while going potty. Please bring your own food/treats as copper has a specific Diet and his food is prescribed to him and cannot be shared.
A typical day
Copper is still young so he takes a lot of naps throughout the day which works out well while I work from home. He goes out for 2-3 walks a day (as long as its not too cold out). We love playing puzzles for pups with treats as it stimulates their brain.

I’m currently working at the University of Toronto I work hybrid so I am in the office part of the weeks however I do have my brother who is just as knowledgable as I am when it comes to pets at home with copper and he would be staying with whichever pet.
