Working from home - flexible dog walker/sitter!

Not currently taking on new clients! I’m currently working from home for the foreseeable future and as my flat doesn’t allow pets, I’d love to fill the dog shaped hole in my heart by looking after your fur baby! However this does mean I am only available OUT OF WORK HOURS. Before 8:30am and after 4pm on weekdays (unless you book a house sit for the day and I can work from your house). I am definitely a dog person and I will love and care for your dog as if it was my own. I don’t have any professional experience with dogs however I have been dog sitting on Rover for over a year now and have had multiple family dogs I have been responsible for and have trained. I am happy to implement any current training you are doing and keep up with your dogs current routine. Unfortunately, I cannot offer any services for any reactive dogs. This is because I do not have the necessary experience or training to handle a reactive dog and it would not be fair to them. I have experience caring for different breeds and sizes of dogs. I feel like I would benefit just as much as you would out of me dog sitting as I need the company just as much as your dog! :) If you have any questions feel free to give me a message. The most amazing dog and house sitter ever! Laura looked after our Cavapoo for 2.5 weeks in our house whilst we were away and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect experience. Our dog was super happy from the moment she met Laura in the meet and greet and clearly has had a wonderful time with Laura. Laura sent us regular updates and photos to reassure us that all was ok, and on returning home the house was spotless. Laura is like the Mary Poppins of pet sitters and I can’t recommend her highly enough. She’s definitely now our regular sitter for all future holidays and trips away - we’ve already booked her again for two more sits and there will be many more. Thank you so much again Laura :)
Laura was a fabulous sitter for our rescue dog. She was flexible, able to cater to her needs and gave us many updates so felt confident that our dog was well looked after. We would definitely book with Laura again with the peace of mind that our pet will be in good hands 🙂

At our meet and greet I was so impressed by Laura's manner and how she was already setting boundaries with Bear (as well as being friendly!) and not letting him jump all over her. Prior to watching him she asked me to complete a really comprehensive questionnaire which I really appreciated. I normally leave lots of written notes for sitters, so it was refreshing that Laura was asking these up front! Bear loved her and we'll definitely use Laura again!

I only offer dog sitting services in the owners home. I feel like this is more beneficial to the dog as it allows minimal disruption to their environment. I try to keep their routines the same to make the transition as smooth as possible. I have found this works great, especially for anxious dogs as it minimises the amount they need to adapt to. Getting used to a new person is big enough without adding other things to the mix!

A typical day
Love having some dog company, whether it’s out for long walks or cuddled up inside! They will receive lots of love while in my care. I try to keep to keep to their normal routines, so each time I look after a dog it’s different.

Availability
I work from home which is great as I am able to work from owners homes and care for their dogs at the same time. It allows me to be a lot more flexible and hands on with caring for your dog! I do the odd day in the office (Manchester centre) and should be told in advance so I am usually able to update my calendar accordingly.
