I recently moved from Boulder to Denver. I love dogs! Because of remote work, I can dog sit whenever. My calendar is up to date. However, I have two dogs of my own and therefore can only do house sitting (my partner watches my dogs while I'm at your place!) I was a level 2 (of 3) volunteer at an animal shelter for a year and am great with all breeds, ages, and sizes of dog. The other volunteers called me "the dog whisperer" and I haven't found a dog I didn't like (or that didn't like me). I have loved being a Rover sitter for the last six years. I like to take the dogs on long walks and hikes to explore. If your dog is active, I am happy to be as active as necessary. I am also happy just hanging out with your pup while I work from home. In addition to having the family golden retriever for 14 years, I have also dog sat and walked for friends and neighbors for years. One family has two dogs- an elderly dog and a special needs dog. While I was in graduate school, I did day boarding for the same dog every day, we were best buddies. My favorite feedback: "Our dog was unusually happy when he came home last time" I work from home! So dog care is easy to fit in to my daily routine. My work is really flexible, and that helps a lot. Due to the unknowns of when I will be able to travel for work, I am only booking 2 months in advance. Thank you for understanding.
