I have a checklist for each of your animals that I will complete during our meet & greet. I will learn about the feeding schedule, where the food is located, how much food, exercise schedule, commands they know, behavior with other dogs, and any other things I should know about your pets. I worked with the City of Collegedale to create the off-leash dog park on the Greenway. I understand that dogs need to be socialized... when they are with you. I will avoid other dogs while on walks. There is no need to introduce situations that could be an issue. There are no breeds that I am afraid of, however, there have been a few dogs that I have been afraid of based on their behavior or their owner's behavior. Both my Husband, Chris, and I have had our background checks thru Rover. This allows both of us to participate in caring for your pets. It will typically be me, LaDonna, but Chris is available to assist.

Until the dogs are relaxed and comfortable with me, I will stay on the path that you usually take with them. I do not want to take them to unknown places, as this can cause insecurity. Once I can sense the tension of you being gone is no longer as overwhelming for them, I may take a different path, inviting new smells. Depending on the amount of time I will be with your dogs, I might bring a treat puzzle board, tennis ball/muffin pan puzzle, snuffle ball, etc.
